The two have a small but solid group of friends, and they’ve attended a number of high-profile events throughout the US in recent years. But still, Harry can’t seem to shake the rumors that he’s looking for some sort of return to royal life. And one expert says it could be for “sympathy.”
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield thinks Harry’s “victimhood” could be a reason he’s claiming to want a royal return. “Victimhood has been very lucrative for Harry and reading that headline, instinctively you feel sympathy for him,” Schofield told GB News, via Express. “And is he positioning the royal family as the bad guys again, [and] is this another ploy when it comes to Harry and Meghan?”
When asked why Harry might be interested in rejoining the Firm, Schofield said it had to do with the decisions Harry and Meghan have made since moving to the US. “I think they’ve made a lot of missteps over the last few years and they’re not having the life that they thought they were going to.”

Although the stories have been swirling regarding a potential UK comeback for the prince, sources who claim to be close to the prince say that’s far from the truth. Speaking to The Telegraph, sources claim that Harry has an “amazing set of friends” and is not interested in leaving the US.
The idea that Harry is seriously interested in a royal return seems a bit far-fetched. In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Meghan said she’d hardly “scraped the surface” in discussing everything that had happened to her while in Harry’s family; a dig like that suggests the two are nowhere close to coming back to the UK.
It’s possible that some people desperately want Harry to fail, which is why stories of this sort are always swirling. But it seems that the reality just doesn’t match up with the rumors, and we still believe a royal return is highly unlikely.
