Prince Harry Shares Details About What His Daughter, Princess Lilibet, Looks Now as She’s Growing Up
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to mostly keep their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, out of the spotlight. Fans saw Archie days after he was born during a photocall at Windsor Castle. Then, months later, the public got to see him again when he traveled to South Africa with his parents.
After the Sussexes moved stateside their daughter, Princess Lilibet, was born. Photos of Lili have been rare after one was shared via social media for her 1st birthday. For anyone who has wondered over the years what Meghan and Harry’s kids look like as they’re growing up, Harry recently spoke about what Archie and Lili both inherited from Meghan.

Prince Harry says Princess Lilibet got this from Meghan
Prince Harry attended the Wellchild Awards in London on Sept. 30. The prince is the patron of the charity, one of the few he’s kept since stepping down as a working royal in 2020. As the Sussexes’ website reads: “The WellChild Awards celebrate inspirational children and young people in the UK who are seriously ill, and the dedication of those who go that extra mile to make a real difference in their lives.”
During the function, the duke talked a bit about his two little ones who stayed at home in Montecito, California with Meghan.
Hello! Magazine noted that one of the people Harry chatted with at the event was the chief content officer Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon. She described Harry’s mannerisms that evening saying: “From the moment he arrived in the reception room, he had an infectious energy about him, and there were no airs and graces at all as he chatted animatedly about his own children ahead of the event.”
According to Vokes-Dudgeon, Harry revealed that both his kiddos have Meghan’s hair and Lili’s is very long now.
The CCO recalled Harry sharing: “‘Archie and Lili have been blessed with their mother’s thick hair,’ he told us, self-effacingly, as he marveled that it won’t be long until Lili can sit on hers.”

While Lili may have long thick hair like Meghan, Harry previously said that she looks just like his Spencer side of the family.
During an interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in 2023, the duke explained: “The Spencer gene is very, very strong. I actually really, genuinely thought at the beginning of my relationship [with Meghan] that should this go the distance and we have kids that there’s no way the ginger gene will stand up to my wife’s genes. But I was wrong!”
And speaking about Lili in the couple’s Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, the prince again talked about his daughter’s “Spencer-like” genes.
“I think, at the moment, I see a lot of my wife in Archie and I see a lot of my mum [Princess Diana] in Lili,” he said. “She’s very Spencer-like. She’s got the same blue eyes.”
