Prince Harry Set to Take Yet Another Solo Trip Without Meghan Markle — But It’s Not to the UK
Prince Harry has done quite a bit of travel without his wife, Meghan Markle, since the two first moved to the United States back in 2020. The Duke of Sussex has returned to the United Kingdom on a number of occasions, and in most cases, Meghan has not traveled with him. Harry has said that he refuses to bring his wife and children back to his home country unless he can guarantee their safety.
Now, Harry is set to take yet another big trip — this time, it’s within the US — but Meghan is staying behind.

There are a number of reasons why Meghan has not always accompanied Harry on trips. The couple share two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and Meghan has remained at home while Harry traveled in order to take care of the kids. Plus, when going to the UK, security has remained an issue for the duchess. But now, Meghan is giving Harry some time to get away by himself in order to support the charities he cares about most.
“The trip will support Harry’s work with his patronages,” a source revealed, according to Express.
Another source also spoke of the upcoming trip. “Meghan doesn’t have to attend every event with her husband,” they said, defending the duchess’ decision to remain at home. “If she skips an event, it doesn’t mean there is anything wrong between them. She’s happy for him to take this one on his own to shine a light on what really matters to him.”
It seems that every time Harry and Meghan aren’t spotted together, people assume something is wrong, but sources say this is just the agreement the two made and has nothing to do with the status of their relationship.

Harry and Meghan embarked on a trip to Nigeria this past May, where they took a tour of the country after it announced it would be the first African country to join Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation. While there, Meghan remarked in an interview with People that she and Harry are “really happy” with their lives in the US.
Harry and Meghan have somewhat struggled with their reputations, but many people thought the couple wouldn’t last long. However, after meeting in 2016, they’ve spent the last eight years at one another’s side. And despite what the haters say, it seems clear that they’re still going strong.
