Prince William Has a Mealtime Habit That Drives Kate Middleton Mad
A couple for 23 years, Prince William and Kate Middleton have become accustomed to each other’s quirks. However, William still has one habit that drives Kate mad, and it’s one he’s had for many years.
Kate Middleton called Prince William a ‘nightmare’ for his mealtime habit
Kate Middleton revealed that Prince William has a mealtime habit that makes her a bit upset. She subsequently explained that it was one he’s retained for many years.
Back in 2018, the couple visited a Royal Air Force base in Cyprus. William and Kate were in charge of opening a new recreation facility, which included new sofas.
William told the recruits, “Keep the pizza off the sofas.” But Kate then revealed that William did that all the time. She told the Prince of Wales, “You’re a nightmare with that” (via Express).
The couple learned one another’s habits and quirks during their days at the University of St. Andrews. They roomed together, along with other classmates, beginning in 2002.
What other eating habits does William have, according to Kate?
Reportedly, Kate Middleton admitted that eating pizza on the sofa isn’t Prince William’s only food habit. He has another one that has a sweet slant.
According to Kate, William is a chocoholic. Express reported that the Princess of Wales admitted her husband has a massive sweet tooth.
Easter is a time not only for their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to indulge in sweets, but for their father as well. Reportedly, he sneaks into their treats to satisfy his cravings.
Thus, William once said of the Easter holiday, as reported by Express, “There’ll be a lot of chocolate being eaten, don’t worry!” Kate joked, “You keep eating it!”
Prince William’s love for chocolate was evident in his biscuit groom’s cake
The Royal Collection Trust revealed the ingredients of Prince William’s favorite Chocolate Biscuit Cake. It was made as a dessert option during his wedding to Kate Middleton.
The confection contains Rich Tea biscuits, a cookie beloved by Britons as a snack with tea or coffee. Thus, it is based on a classic dessert called Tiffin cake. William wanted it replicated for his groom’s cake.
The McVitie’s Cake Company created a square, three-tier chocolate biscuit cake topped with a chocolate ganache. The cake was subsequently adorned with chocolate leaves and white chocolate dahlias for William.
Its simple ingredients include Rich Tea biscuits, unsalted butter, caster sugar, dark chocolate, and warm water. The recipe was also a favorite of another royal family member, Queen Elizabeth, Prince William’s grandmother.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for 13 years. They wed on April 29, 2011.
