Dancing is not something the royals are known for. But over the last few years, we’ve seen some members of Britain’s famous family letting loose and breaking out some moves.

Cameras captured Prince William and the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) dancing at a Belizean Garifuna festival during their visit to the Caribbean in 2022. A few months later, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were all seen moving to the music during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. And in 2023, everyone from King Charles to Prince Edward to Sophie to Mike Tindall were on their feet grooving to Katy Perry and Lionel Richie at the Coronation Concert.

But it’s Prince William’s dancing at another concert that went viral, and fans noticed that his moves looked pretty similar to some of Prince Louis’.

Footage from the video we’ve all seen of the future king busting a move at Taylor Swift’s concert has been posted on TikTok.

On June 21, Prince William attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The Prince of Wales, who was celebrating his birthday that same day, was also with his cousin, Zara, and Mike Tindall.

Some eagle-eyed fans in the audience spotted the royals and pulled out their phones to catch William happily dancing his heart out as Swift sang “Shake It Off.”

“So glad to see him ‘let loose’ and have fun,” one person wrote.

“Wow, he has some serious moves!!!” another said while a third opined, “He dances like Taylor!”

Another exclaimed: “So this is where Prince Louis gets it from.”

What that fourth commenter is referring to can be seen in another video, which is a mashup of both William and Louis dancing.

The 14-second TikTok video featuring the father and son showing off their moves has gone viral with over 3 million views and more than 240,000 likes. It begins with Prince Louis doing a little shake at the 2024 Trooping the Colour before showing William grooving to “Shake It Off.”

The video then cuts to clips of Prince William as a child and a young adult rocking out just like his youngest son likes to do. There’s also a bonus dance from Louis thrown in there that took place during the late Queen Elizabeth‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and looks a lot like William’s dance at Swift’s concert.

“Louis has all of William’s dancing spirit!! His mini-me!” one person gushed. And second user said: “That’s where I’ve seen that dance! They all have the same dance moves means they have dance parties.”

A third chimed in, “I think William taught Louis those little dance steps!!!” while another added, “As they say the apple doesn’t fall from the tree!”

And a fifth posted: “I can picture how wonderful and lively their home is with plenty of dancing and singing and laughter.”
