Royal fans have watched Prince William and the Princess of Wales’ (formerly known as Kate Middleton) only daughter, Princess Charlotte, grow up in front of our eyes. The cameras were there outside St. Mary’s Hospital hours after she was born and made her worldwide debut. They were also rolling when she went on her first royal tour overseas with her parents and when she attended special events with William and Kate.

However, Charlotte is still a child and doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of having cameras in her face all the time and she’s let the paparazzi know that on a few occasions.

Now, a video has been circulating that shows the princess’s reaction when she spots a camera filming her during a televised event.

The video that has been making the rounds was posted on TikTok. The footage is from the Platinum Pageant, which took place in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign in June 2022. In the 12-second clip, Charlotte sits up straight to check where the cameras are and doesn’t hold back once she sees them as she reacts with a cold stare and even points them out.

So far the video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times. It’s garnered over 250,000 likes and more than 600 comments with users writing things like “Always on point showing where the cameras are” and “She can look in a completely different direction, and then all of a sudden spot it.”

Others discussed how Charlotte wasn’t the first family who spotted the camera this time. Many noted that it was Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter Mia, saying: “I would say the girl in blue [Mia] saw it, pointed at it then said to her dad ‘look there’s a camera’ and Charlotte heard it and started looking around for it.”

And some commented on how quickly the royal children have grown up posting: “Is it just me or did they grow up a little too fast?”

Charlotte has made her feelings about the paps known ever since she could talk

Charlotte actually verbalized her feelings for the paps when she was much smaller. One of the first times the press heard her speak was when she told the cameras where they couldn’t go the day of her brother Prince Louis’ christening.

On July 9, 2018, the royals gathered at St. James Palace for Louis’ baptism. While the ceremony was private, photographers were outside the chapel hoping to get a glimpse of the Wales family and they did, but Charlotte wasn’t too happy they were there.

When she saw the photogs snapping pictures the little princess made it a point to tell them they were not invited to her sibling’s christening. As she walked by the cameras while holding her dad’s hand, Charlotte turned to those with cameras and said: “You’re not coming.”

She then stared them down until she was out of view. Prince William did his best to hold in his laughter following his daughter’s remark.
