‘Property Brothers’ Star Jonathan Scott Says His Eyes and Joints Can Do Crazy Things
Real estate and home improvement are all the rage, and fans are surely familiar with Jonathan and Drew Scott, identical twins more commonly known as the Property Brothers.
Together, they co-host their reality show, with the popular home-renovation series featuring Drew as the realtor and Jonathan as the contractor, as they embark on adventures to find their clients the perfect space for the makeover that each individual family is looking for in order to meet their needs.
The Scott brothers’ charming personalities really draw viewers in, and there is no denying the fact that the two make a perfect team. According to Closer Weekly, the twins have been delighting their fans with their charismatic onscreen banter for years.
They often joke around with each other and those who they are working with, and silliness is just a natural part of who they are. Now, Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott says his eyes and joints can do crazy things.

Both twins have amazing personalities, and now, we have learned a pretty fun fact about Jonathan. According to US Weekly, the famous contractor has revealed that his eyes can move independently of each other and that he is also double-jointed. Those are very cool traits for anyone to have, and there is no doubt that Scott is extremely proud of what he can do.
The condition that he has is called voluntary nystagmus, which is somewhat rare, occurring in about 8% of the population. Being double-jointed is more common, and is a trait that about 20% of people have.
According to Neurology, voluntary nystagmus consists of rapid movements that are controlled, and often happen in short bursts, while being double-jointed simply means that a person has a wide range of movement in their extremities, as reported by Very Well Health.

Of course, there are a few other traits that make the famous brothers stand out as being distinct. The List reports that there are things that many fans are not aware of, such as the fact that their parents (and their mom’s doctor) had no idea that they were going to be twins. The brothers also haven’t fought in over two decades, and before they became famous, they used to work as clowns.
Jonathan can speak Farsi, Spanish, French, and Japanese, and he also plays the bagpipes. His talents don’t end there, since he is an award-winning magician, who has an obsession with haunted houses. The contractor also sometimes sleeps with his eyes open and talks in his sleep. Wow! These talented brothers really are as multi-faceted as can be!
The HGTV show is a huge success
Each episode of the show draws in an amazing number of viewers, and the Scott brothers have a huge fan base as a result. So, why has the show been so successful over the years? US Weekly can report that Jonathan recently revealed one of the secrets behind the success of the show. He said that,
“… we’re not pretending to be somebody else. So, when people meet us on the street, they’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh. You’re exactly like you are on the show.’ It’s because that’s exactly who I am on the show.”
Property Brothers is definitely not the first show of its kind, but it is definitely one of the most popular. According to The Things, the twins started a real estate company in 2004, and haven’t slowed down since. They have achieved more than they ever imagined, thanks to hard work, dedication, and their own production company which oversees all that they do.
