Jackson and Thurman will be sharing the screen together in The Kill Room. Reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is a dark comedy thriller from director Nicol Paone and writer Jonathan Jacobson. The Kill Room will center around a hitman (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and a money-laundering scheme that turns Thurman’s character into an overnight sensation, forcing her to play the art world against the underworld.

The project will be produced by Jordan Beckerman, Jordan Yale Levine, and Jon Keeyes are producing under their Yale Productions banner alongside Paone, Thurman, Anne Clements, Dannielle Thomas, and Jason Weinberg.

“Getting to make The Kill Room — an already incredible script — with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is beyond my wildest dreams,” Paone said. “Every moment they’re onscreen, they are both enviable and eye-catching. I am eternally grateful to both of them for saying yes, and I am thrilled to bring this to life alongside Anne Clements and Yale Productions.”

Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson will appear together for the first time since ‘Pulp Fiction’

Technically, they did reunite briefly as Jackson had a cameo in Kill Bill Vol. 2. This will be the first time since Pulp Fiction that the duo will star in a movie with both having significant roles. Thurman and Jackson have appeared in plenty of films since Pulp Fiction debuted in 1994. However, the Tarantino movie is so iconic that both are remembered for their roles in that film.

In Pulp Fiction, Jackson played Jules Winnfield, a hitman who worked for Marsellus Wallace. Thurman played Mia Wallace, wife of Marsellus. Thurman’s most famous scene took place at Jack Rabbit Slims where she and Travolta ordered $5 milkshakes. Jackson is best known for his “the path of the righteous man” monologue which he says right before killing people.

Pulp Fiction won Best Original Screenplay at the 67th Academy Awards. It was also nominated for Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Jackson.
