The main characters in ‘Ragdoll’ look for more clues about the killers tactics in episode 3

Ragdoll Episode 3 begins right after the brutal events that took place in episode 2. After Rose watched the female lawyer walk in front of a moving car, he and Emily Baxter (Thalissa Teixeira) try to locate her son. Their vehicle gets blocked by a yellow taxi driven by an obsessed fan of Rose.

She explains leaving her apartment and finding the taxi with the lawyer’s son inside. She also received a letter from the Ragdoll killer. Back at the precinct, Lake Edmonds (Lucey Hale) identifies the other body parts related to the Cremation Killer. Rose and the team decided to shift their focus to the next name on the list, Eric Turner (Douggie McMeekin).

Eric was the guard who removed Rose from the Cremation Killer’s trial. Baxter is tasked to speak to Eric while Edmonds and Rose figure out how the lawyer’s son was abducted. Back at the precinct, Edmonds and Rose try to ask the boy questions, and Rose finds himself getting too caught up in a therapy tactic used during his hospitalization.

After witnessing Rose during the questioning, she confides in Baxter about her worries. She tells Baxter a janitor saw Rose standing on the ledge of the roof shouting. But Baxter dismisses Edmond’s worries so she does not pry into Rose. Rose visits someone connected to Joel (Kobna Holdbrook-Smith) and asks about Joel’s sister’s murder and her boyfriend’s disappearance.

Rose wants information about the boyfriend and learns a woman named Kate claims she saw the man who killed him. At the precinct, Rose arrives late to the briefing and is angry that Eric will transport prisoners to a new facility. Baxter does not assign Rose to the security detail. Rose confronts Baxter and puts a wedge in their relationship.

As Baxter and Edmonds ready Eric for the transport, one of the inmates is Joel’s friend, who Rose questioned moments ago. On route, the inmate smuggled a pen and used the clip to break free of his handcuffs and unlock the door. At the same time, Eric starts to experience the effects of a drug.

Things take a turn in Ragdoll Episode 3 when a small telephone bomb causes a water pipe to burst, obstructing the view of the characters. Baxter assesses the scene and finds the inmate dead, and Edmonds secures Eric in the car. With Eric under the influence of a drug, he opens his daughter’s backpack that was missing that morning. Eric is attacked by a poisonous snake and dies.

When Bater finds mummified animals in her trunk, DS Finlay (Michael Smiley) realizes its meaning. The animals and the way Eric was killed tie back to an old method of punishment against children who kill their parents. Before the Cremation Killer trial, Eric turned off his father’s life support. Viewers are then taken to a Civil War reenactment field and an unknown character.

Rose and Edmond question the lawyer’s son again, and Rose tells him a story about his mother. The two characters inform the others he remembers smelling acetone. He would go with his mother to get her nails done and remembers disfigured faces in the trunk of the car.

Edmonds is furious to learn Rose’s story about his mother was fake and berates Baxter for allowing Rose to get away with it. Viewers then watch Rose visit reporter Andrea Wyld (Natasha Little), and they kiss. In another part of town, Edmonds has a psychological breakdown. Ragdoll Episode 3 ends with an older white male going home to his shed to dissect and catalog a human hand.
