A Rare Video of Prince Harry Cradling and Rocking Archie Surfaces Online
A video of Prince Harry on daddy duty holding and rocking his son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, when he was an infant has surfaced online and fans are loving the heartwarming video which many of them have never seen before.
Watch the clip below that was taken while the prince’s wife, Meghan Markle, was talking to a reporter during their royal tour in South Africa.
Archie wasn’t seen in public much until Meghan and Harry’s final royal tour
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child was born on May 6, 2019. Two days later, the proud parents introduced Archie to the world during a photocall at Windsor Castle. However, the public didn’t see many pictures of their son until the couple’s royal tour to South Africa in September 2019.
Meghan and Harry brought Archie on the trip with them and there were plenty of adorable clips of their baby smiling and laughing. There were also some cute pictures of the duchess holding Archie, but none of Harry cradling him. Well, one video that has surfaced online shows Harry doing just that and many fans, who are seeing the clip for the first time, are gushing over the prince on daddy duty.

As the Express noted, the clip of Harry cradling and rocking little Archie was first seen in the duke and duchess’s documentary titled: Harry & Meghan: An African Journey which originally aired in October 2019. The prince can be seen beyond Meghan’s shoulder with his son in another room as the former Suits star speaks to journalist Tom Bradby.
Royal fans who hadn’t watched the documentary before were delighted when the clip of the sweet father-and-son moment was shared on Twitter recently, as were those who did see it but did notice Harry and Archie in the background.
“So funny, [in] real-time, didn’t even notice Papa Sussex way back there,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “I love a supportive husband.”

After Harry and Meghan moved to California they welcomed their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. She was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and weighed 7 lbs, 11 oz.
The pair announced the news on their Archewell website writing: “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
No photos of Lili were released until their 2021 Christmas card which showed the family of four together for the first time looking like they are really living their happily ever after.
