Ray J’s Wife, Princess Love, Says He Deserted Her & Daughter in Vegas
Singer and entrepreneur, Ray J is making headlines again after his wife, Princess Love, made some unsavory public accusations on Instagram. The pair have been married since 2016, and their marriage has certainly had its ups and downs. However, as the pair are planning to welcome their second child into the world next month, fans expected that they were getting along better. But, Princess Love quickly proved that was not the case when she accused him of leaving her and his daughter stranded in Vegas.

On November 19, 2019, Ray J took to his Instagram page to post of picture of himself, Princess Love, and their one-year-old daughter, Melody posed as a happy family. “Thank you @bet #soulTrainAwards @princesslove @melodylovenorwood,” the singer captioned the since-deleted Instagram post. However, before Ray J managed to delete the photo (or likely the reason why he chose to) his wife managed to leave an accusatory comment. “Left me and Melody stranded in Vegas and blocked me from calling…now you wanna post family photos #ByeUgly,” she wrote.
Even though Ray J swiftly deleted the photo, he wasn’t quicker than The Shade Room who instantly reposted the photo and messy comment to their Instagram page with 16.8 million followers. Following the post on The Shade Room, people began reaching out to Princess asking her why she simply couldn’t fly her and her daughter home. Taking to her Instagram story she explained her reasoning for not wanting to make that choice.

“Yes, I can fly home… I have my own money. But my car is here and I don’t want to drive back alone with my daughter because I’m over 8 months pregnant and I don’t even want to have to stop for gas or go into labor with all of this human trafficking going on,” Princess Love wrote in and posted to her Instagram story about why she felt stranded by Ray J.
Fans react to the drama
But, despite Princess Love elaborating on the situation, fans are split over whose side to take in this unfortunate situation. Many people believed that Princess Love should have settled this matter with Ray J privately instead of involving millions of people. “This is exactly what Brandy and the mom was talking about. Keep your private life to yourself and off social media. That wasn’t even our business sis🤦🏾♀️ you could have sent a text,” one person wrote in the comments of The Shade Room’s repost.
Other people took the opportunity to speak on Princess Love’s personality. “She is a serious nagger! She always in her feelings about something! That man works to keep her lavish ahhh wrapped up in Gucci etc! Yes, you may have your own money but you don’t have that Norwood money so chill out! Stop running to IG to tell all your business! You’re married now! He’s no longer your BF! Everything don’t [sic] deserve an audience,” another fan wrote about the relationship between Princess Love and Ray J.
Family ties
But, other fans were staunchly on Princess Love’s side and believed there was no excuse for Ray J ditching Princess Love and his daughter in another city. “I think it’s funny people discourage a woman from expressing herself publicly but don’t mind her being humiliated that way… so lost,” one person penned. “Ain’t no good excuse to leave your pregnant wife and toddler daughter stranded under any circumstances,” another person chimed in. Hopefully, the Love and Hip Hop stars will work out their differences for the sake of Melody and the new baby boy they are expecting.
