Sean “Diddy” Combs is known for his parties that appeared to involve sex, drugs, and numerous celebrities. Photojournalist and socialite Selma Fonseca spoke to The U.S. Sun about what it was like to attend the parties in the ’90s and ’00s. Fonseca reportedly crashed over 2,000 parties hosted by Combs, and she later published books that discussed Combs’ parties.

Fonseca met Combs in 1998 and attended one of his famous White Parties to celebrate Labor Day in 1999. The White Parties required all attendees to wear white, and Combs turned away guests who didn’t abide by the code. Fonseca reportedly used someone else’s name to get into the party.

The photojournalist realized why Combs always wears glasses. “He’s very nice, but he’s not very open,” she said. “That’s why he’s wearing glasses all the time.”

Combs invited Fonseca to one of his parties on Star Island in Miami. She explained the levels of privacy and secrecy that surrounded the event. “Once you go over the bridge, there’s a security guard there, and you have to give your name,” she said. “It’s like a fortress.”

“It’s very hard to get onto the island unless you know someone who lives there,” she continued. “I gave my name and said I was coming to Diddy’s party. The house is breathtaking. He likes it very modern with a lot of windows. All white. There was a beautiful pool. At his parties, there are always beautiful girls in bikinis, naked girls swimming in the pool. It was normal.”

A drug dealer who allegedly sold cocaine to Sean “Diddy” Combs spoke to The New York Post about what they saw at Combs’ Hamptons mansion. According to the dealer, Combs answered the door wearing only a robe. When the dealer entered one of the back rooms of the home, he noted that he had witnessed explicit sexual acts from famous folks.

“You’d see two people you would not think would be hooking up, rappers; that was what shocked me,” the dealer said. “I won’t say names, but there were rappers that I immediately lost respect for and could not take seriously ever again.”

The dealer alleged that he witnessed guests abusing ketamine and other drugs.

The hip-hop mogul once predicted his arrest over his parties in an interview

Sean “Diddy” Combs knew that he threw the wildest parties in the music scene. During a 1999 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he noted that he’d “probably” get arrested for what went down at his mansion.

“They won’t even give me a permit for the parties,” Combs said. “They don’t want me to throw the parties no more. But we ain’t gonna stop. We gonna keep on having fun, bringing people together from all walks of life. You’re gonna hear about my parties. They going to be shutting them down. They’re going to probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just because we want to have a good time.”
