Resurfaced Lyrics Show Eminem Hinting at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Assault Allegations — But Everyone Missed It
Over the last year, Sean “Diddy” Combs has come under fire for a number of allegations, ultimately leading to his arrest in September 2024. Diddy has been in jail ever since, and people have slowly been connecting the dots regarding everything from Diddy’s time spent with Justin Bieber to his now-infamous white parties.
But a closer look at some recent Eminem lyrics seems to suggest the rapper was sending messages about Diddy before anybody realized what the hip-hop mogul had been up to behind the scenes.
Lyrics from a recent Eminem song appear to send a message about Diddy
Eminem is known for his abstract and shocking lyrics; they often hold much more meaning than meets the eye. The song “Fuel” was released as part of Eminem’s 2024 album, “The Death of Slim Shady,” — and it’s one specific line that has people piecing the puzzle together.
“I’m like a R-A-P-E-R. Got so many S-As,” Eminem raps, conveniently leaving out one of the Ps in the word “rapper.” Eminem was reportedly attempting to diss Diddy, but he was doing it in a way that now has people thinking he was trying to uncover some skeletons in Diddy’s closet. The clip of the lyrics has gone viral on social media, and people have all drawn the same conclusion about Eminem’s meaning.
“Eminem really dropped the HARDEST Diddy Diss bar we’ve have heard,” one person commented under an Instagram video of the lyrics.
Others praised Eminem’s ability to include the lyrics in such a way, as if to give something away without giving anything away at all. “He is literally a genius,” another user wrote, with someone else adding that “Hardly any rapper can write like this.”
Eminem and Diddy have had an ages-long feud
In the world of rap and hip-hop, feuds are often the inspiration behind a number of lyrics. Eminem’s songs are no exception, with some of his biggest hits being inspired by the drama that occurs behind the scenes of some of the biggest artists. His song “Like Toy Soldiers” is a perfect example, with Eminem telling the story of various feuds and ultimately saying he doesn’t want to be a part of the rap scene if people keep dying.
Still, Eminem has had his share of diss tracks, too. He tied Diddy to Tupac’s death in his 2018 song “Killshot.” The actual details of Eminem and Diddy’s feud have never really become known; it’s assumed that rival record labels might have been where it all started.
