‘RHOA’: Cynthia Bailey Reveals What Marc Daly Says to Her About Kenya Moore Off Camera
Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore are best friends both on and off camera. The former Miss U.S.A. was one of the model’s bridesmaids during her wedding to her husband, Mike Hill. Additionally, the friends often discuss Moore’s marriage to Marc Daly on the show. On RHOA’s after-show, Bailey said her pal’s husband shares his true feelings about her when the cameras aren’t rolling.
‘RHOA’ star Kenya Moore compared Marc Daly to her estranged mother
On a Sunday, March 7, 2021, episode of RHOA, viewers watched as Moore, who has a reported net worth of $800,000, attended a therapy session. The Deliver Us From Eva actor opened up about her marital woes with Daly. Since they got married in 2017, the couple splits their time from Atlanta and New York because of Daly’s Brooklyn-based restaurant, Soco. After spending nearly the entire year apart because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant owner filed for divorce from his wife in Jan. 2021. The separation is the second one for the couple, who share a daughter, Brooklyn Daly.
Before their divorce proceedings became official, Moore explained to her therapist why she considered salvaging their marriage. She said she always believed that if she gave her husband “time,” he would “come around.” Moore also made herself available to him as much as possible. The mother of one revealed that Daly treated her exactly like her mother did when growing up. On RHOA, the pageant queen often shared her estranged relationship with her mother, Patricia, per People.
“I was always trying to demand that she see me and that she acknowledge me,” she said of her mom. “And that never happened.”
What Marc Daly says about Kenya, according to Cynthia Bailey
Throughout their marriage, Daly unabashedly shared his disdain for Moore’s day job on RHOA. Fans of the show will recall the businessman leaving the event he hosted after becoming frustrated with the show’s cameras. He’s also noticeably absent from season 13 of the series.
Although viewers probably won’t see Daly on RHOA this season, he remains a hot topic on the series and its after show. On Monday, March 8, 2021, Bravo posted the cast’s reactions to Sunday’s episode. While discussing Moore’s therapy session, Bailey admitted that Daly gives her friend “mixed signals” about where they stand. However, she said he speaks fondly of his wife and seemingly wants to repair their relationship.
“Mark, even when I’ve had conversations with him, all he does is tell me how great and amazing his wife is what a great mother [Moore] is,” Bailey said of Daly.
“He basically brags about her to me,” she continued. “And then when I see how he treats her, I don’t get it. You know it’s confusing on the show.”

Moore and Daly are still legally married. After viewers watched her lawyer hand the Waiting to Exhale actor divorce papers, she shared on Twitter that her husband changed his mind the next day. She also confirmed that they’re continuing to work on their relationship and do what’s best for Brooklyn.
“For the record: Marc withdrew the divorce petition the next day and said that he was not asking for alimony in the filing and that we misinterpreted NY law,” Moore said. “There has been no further divorce action to date. This scene was taped months ago. #RHOA #itscomplicated.”
