‘RHOA’: Falynn Guobadia Divorce Docs Reveal Simon Filed in February
Falynn Guobadia, the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is getting a divorce. The news comes amid speculation that there was trouble in paradise for Falynn and her rich husband, Simon. Though Falynn shot down rumors of marital strife, the rumors proved to be true.
Simon alleges that Falynn cheated and their divorce documents reveal an ironclad prenuptial agreement. The divorce petition also notes the date of Simon’s divorce filing.
The Guobadia’s announce split; Simon accuses Falynn of cheating
Simon and Falynn released separate announcements on their Instagram pages regarding their split. Per Falynn’s announcement, the split is a mutual decision between her and Simon. She shared the news on her Instagram story.
“After two years of marriage and 5 years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways,” she began. “We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children.”

Both Simon and Falynn requested privacy while dealing with such a difficult matter. However, Simon took things public with an Instagram live where he alleged Falynn was unfaithful.
“You guys just want something very salacious, how was infidelity exposed,” Simon says to one fan who asked during his live recording. “Just understand that I’m very good at what I do when I need to find something out.”
The two married in July 2019 and had a blended family of eight children. Their lavish lifestyle included a private jet, vacations, designer clothing, and fancy cars. Both have removed all photos of one another from their social media pages. Falynn still has a few wedding photos on her Instagram page, sans Simon.
Divorce documents reveal Simon filed for divorce months ago and there’s a prenuptial agreement
Though the divorce announcement came in April, BOSSIP reports that Simon filed divorce documents in February, coinciding with him revealing he and Falynn split in January.
Simon is requesting that the court “grant him a divorce immediately” and alleges the marriage is “irretrievably broken.” He also asks the court to enforce the prenuptial agreement they signed two days before their wedding.

His petition reads: “There should be a division of the assets and debts between the parties as set forth in, and consistent with, the Prenuptial Agreement.” Simon is requesting he be awarded his separate, non-marital property. Allegedly, he fears Falynn will sell their joint assets before the divorce is final and asking the court to forbid her from doing so.
Falynn is not contesting the divorce, with her petition noting: “Falynn had no issue with the prenuptial agreement being enforced as part of their divorce. She hit her soon-to-be ex-husband with a counterclaim. She wants the court to award her attorney fees for having to respond to Simon’s divorce.”
It’s unclear if Falynn will return for another season of RHOA. She was not present at the reunion taping. Her co-star and friend Kenya Moore is vying for her to be a full-time peach holder.
