‘RHOA’: Kandi Burruss Says Season 13 Reunion Is Nothing but ‘Drama’ and Why a New Housewife Will Work
Season 13 of RHOA is coming to an end and fans can’t wait to see what happens at the highly anticipated reunion special. Kandi Burruss says fans should be prepared for drama. Burruss also says she thinks adding one more housewife to the mix is a good idea for next season.
Kandi Burruss says LaToya Ali got into the most conflict
Burruss sat with a virtual interview with Entertainment Tonight and dished on all things reunion. When describing the outcome in one word, drama is what came to the longtime cast member’s mind.
“What other word to say other than drama,” Burruss laughed. “That’s the only word I can use to say – for this group of girls period.”
As for who was in the hot seat the bulk of taping, Burruss said a few of her co-stars battled it out. But newcomer Ali allegedly got it the worst.
“Obviously, there was a lot to say between Kenya [Moore], and Porsha [Williams], and of course, Drew [Sidora],” Burruss said, referencing the three women’s argument over what really went down during #strippergate. Ali was also involved in the ordeal in some way. Her once close friendship with Moore has since unraveled. Ali is also at war with Sidora.
“I felt like LaToya came out on fire,” Burruss says. “She just got so angry.”
As for the #strippergate debacle, Burruss hints that there’s still no clarity on whether or not Williams confirms engaged in a threesome with the hired stripper for Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette party.
Williams reportedly did so with friend to the show, Tanya Sam. Sam quit the show midway through the season. Aside from Moore, Burruss and Marlo Hampton have hinted to believing Williams is guilty.
“I don’t know about a resolution,” Burruss explains. “I would say you have to just watch.”
Why Kandi Burruss says adding another housewife is a good idea
This season, there were several new faces. Both Sidora and Ali were featured in the majority of the episodes, with Sidora as an official peach holder. Falynn Guobadia also joined as a friend to the show. Williams’ best friend Shamea Morton made more appearances this season as well.

Viewers have complained that there were too many new faces and that this season felt stale. Some are calling for a full recast or partial. Burruss spoke of how she feels about a potential cast shakeup with ET.
“The way I look at it is, we just shook things up, and I feel like people were just starting to get to know some of the new people in this past season,” Burruss says. “So, if anything, I feel like we only had five housewives this past year. I feel like if anything, add somebody [as a full-time housewife]…There’s more to get to know about the new people.”
Marlo Hampton says she’s ready for her peach
Hampton has been a friend to the show since 2012. Though she’s had major issues with almost all full-time housewives, she’s in a good place currently with everyone except Williams.
She’s also grown from a seemingly shallow fashionista to a family woman but getting custody of her two nephews. For that reason, Hampton says she’s ready to showcase more of her personal life.
“You guys just see the fashion, me being opinionated and strong, outspoken,” Hampton tells The Jasmine Brand. “So you don’t see me when I’m crying. You don’t see me when I go downstairs with the boys or if I’m yelling or I’m upset at William for lying…You know me but you don’t know me.”
RHOA airs every Sunday on Bravo at 8 pm EST. It’s unclear when the reunion will air.
