NeNe Leakes has had it up to here with Kenya Moore. While the TV stars have had many run-ins in the past, the drama seemed to reach a new high in the latest season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

RHOA Season 12 saw Leakes and Moore get into many verbal altercations and almost come to blows. It’s all become so intense and overwhelming that Leakes is reportedly considering quitting the show.

Why are NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore feuding?

Moore said on The Wendy Williams Show in November 2019 that problems emerged after the former beauty queen became pregnant with her daughter, Brooklyn, who was born on Nov. 4, 2018.

“I had a high-risk pregnancy, that I wanted my entire life, she never once called me,” Moore told host Wendy Williams. “When I did show up, she never checked on my child. She never said, ‘Is everything okay?’ when she learned I wasn’t going to be on the show. She never said, ‘Are you okay girl, do you need anything?’ And then when she did see me eight months pregnant, she called me a monster and said that my child was a buffalo and she was hurling insults.”

For her part, Leakes claimed that it was Moore who had poor communication skills.

Moore went on to tell Williams that Leakes had tried to spit on her and that viewers would get to see the moment in season 12. In the midseason trailer, which came out in early January, Leakes can be seen doing a spitting motion during an argument with Moore.

As the season continues to play out, Leakes and Moore have been trading barbs and bashing each other. Recently, Leakes slammed Moore on Twitter, accusing her of “constantly starting sh*t” and “lying” on her.

NeNe Leakes is reportedly growing tired of the drama

A source told HollywoodLife on Jan. 19 that Leakes is “seriously” considering whether she’ll continue to appear on RHOA.

“Nene is really seriously contemplating more so than before if she’s going to be doing another season of Housewives,” the source said. “The show is really a job for her now and she doesn’t love it like she used to.”

Leakes, the source said, feels like the drama just isn’t worth it.

“She’s in total work mode and she’s just not sure if arguing with women she doesn’t like surrounding herself with other than for work purposes is worth the paycheck,” the insider continued. “She’s thankful for what the show has done for her, but she’s unsure how much the stress is worth it. The fighting like that is just not something she wants to be a part of anymore.”

The source noted that Leakes still has not made up her mind, though.

Back in December, Leakes herself told the outlet that she didn’t know whether she had a future on the show.

“I don’t know…I really don’t know that. I never really know what I’m doing until the season is over and we talk about it,” she explained. But she went on to express her frustrations with many situations, including “behind the scenes things” that viewers “don’t get to see.”
