Nene Leakes was the center of most of the drama on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The “tastiest peach” feuded with Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey throughout season 12 of the show. More drama ensued after production wrapped and this time it involved Kandi Burrus and Eva Marcille. During the taping of the virtual reunion, most of the cast faced off with Leakes which made her leave to shut it all down.

According to reports, Leakes felt attacked by her co-stars that she ended up walking away from the reunion.

“Nene felt attacked several times at the reunion which is why she walked out,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She got to a breaking point and needed to hit pause and she had it but she came back. Nene would never just not come back. She was at the center of a lot of the fighting at the reunion.”

The only other full-time housewife that was on Leakes’ side was Porsha Williams. Her main feuds were with Kenya Moore, Eva Marcille, and Kandi Burruss.

“Nene really got into it with Eva who went at her after she called her boring. Eva really let her have it,” the insider added. “Nene and Kenya and Nene and Kandi [Burress] also got into it heavily. A lot of the fighting and drama was surrounded around Nene, but Nene held her own. Some of the accusations being made, especially by Kenya, infuriated her.”

Why were Nene Leakes and Eva Marcille feuding?

The feud between Leakes and Marcille only goes back to a couple of weeks ago, their drama was not generated on the show. During an interview, Leakes said that Marcille didn’t bring much to the show.

“I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast,” Leakes told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her.”

It wasn’t long before Marcille clapped back at Leakes and called her “ratchet.” The former model even called out Leakes for missing out on the first episodes of RHOA Season 12.

“If I’m that boring and you spent time in your interview talking about me because your storyline is the fact that you have no storyline. If I do remember correctly, even though I wasn’t in Greece, I was on FaceTime and I still got a check unlike you who missed seven episodes this entire season. This reunion is going to be lit. Glue your wig all the way down sweetheart because it is going down,” she said on Instagram.

The feud between Nene Leakes and Kandi Burruss

Leakes has been making claims on social media about Burruss. The biggest one was that the latter blocked the former from getting her own spin-off shows on Bravo.

“To me, it looks really shady for one person season after seasons after season, gets to do a show and none of these other girls get to do anything,” Leakes said during a Q&A with fans. “It really isn’t my choice. There’s definitely a reason why someone is trying to hold you back from not doing something. It feels like somebody is afraid that you will be bigger than they are. A threat, basically, which is so ridiculous, so thirsty of them. It makes no sense to me.”

Burruss also clapped back and denied being involved in blocking Leakes from getting her own show.

“Am I trippin’? Who is she talking about in this video then? FYI: I don’t have the power to stop anyone from doing anything on Bravo. I show support to every project that my castmates do. TV, business, or whatever they are doing, I always post for them even if we don’t get along. I don’t understand the shade towards me. I stay in my lane and I’m not blocking anyone,” Burruss wrote on Instagram.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta always deliver and the season 12 reunion is sure to have many fireworks.
