‘RHOA’: Nene Leakes Calls Kenya Moore a ‘Monster’ After Greece Snub Drama
Nene Leakes and Kenya Moore are still at odds on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In the latest episode of the Bravo show, the girls traveled to Greece amidst Moore announcing she was separating from her man Marc Daly. Leakes tried to reach out to her but was only greeted with snubs from the former beauty queen. Their relationship has not gotten better and Leakes took it to Twitter sharing her explosive opinion.
Kenya Moore snubs Nene Leakes
Cynthia Bailey proposed a “fellowship” for Moore after she announced she was separating from the father of her baby. The former model asked Leakes to help Moore out and give her advice since both had gone through a divorce before. Leakes was reluctant at first but came around to the idea.
At dinner, Moore went out of her way to diss Leakes a couple of times when she tried to start small talk with her. The most evident incident happened when Moore thanked all of the girls at the table for reaching out to her and making sure she was ok. Moore intentionally excluded Leakes as they have not been in a good place.
When the girls told Moore that she should play nicer as Leakes was trying hard to make mends, she had a change of heart but it was too late.
Kandi Burruss tried to intervene so they could clarify the situation but Leakes was not having it. The OG of the ATL said her “door is closed” and she didn’t want to talk to Moore anymore.
“She’s right, I’m wrong. I f***ed her man and stole her baby. So goodnight, honey,” Leakes said before walking away from Burruss and leaving her speechless. “Have a goodnight Kandi, we love you dearly darling. Keep it a thousand with your friend. Have a goodnight everyone. Thank you. I have to talk to my man, honey. I can keep my marriage together, honey.”
Nene Leakes drags Kenya Moore
On Sunday night, Leakes took to Twitter to air out her frustration with Moore and her friends. What the Glee alum suggests is why everyone is being so concerned with Moore when she has done some horrible things to the RHOA ladies.
“I don’t want to hear nothing from nobody concerning Ken,” Leakes tweeted. “She sits, talks and thanks some who [have] done way worst to her than I ever have. I don’t owe this monster nothing. I personally think her friends need to keep it 100 with her.”
In a second tweet Leakes wrote: “The fact that her friends ask others to be sensitive to her situation but she was never sensitive towards Porsha and Kordell (remember her saying Porsha was his beard), Phaedra and Apollo, Paul and Tanya. Let’s not forget.”
What does Cynthia Bailey think of all the drama?
On the same night the episode aired, Bailey was a guest on Watch What Happens Live where she was asked to comment on the drama. At this moment, Bailey has a closer relationship with Moore, but she was fair in saying that Leakes was genuinely trying to remedy things with Moore.
“I will say in Nene’s defense, she really tried to be kind to Kenya in that moment,” Bailey said. “She really, truly did, and Kandi [Burruss] and I had a whole thing with the ladies about like, ‘Please show compassion to Kenya. You guys might not be in the best place.’ But this had just happened, and she was really in a lot of pain.”
