Nene Leakes from The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been affected by the outbreak of the coronavirus. Authorities across the U.S. have suggested citizens avoid being in large crowds and practice social distancing. The effects of that advice are that many entertainment locations are closing down to the public. Leakes announced that her comedy tour will be paused for the time being for the wellness of the people.

“Thanks to all of u who purchased tickets to my ‘Ladies Night Out Comedy Show Vegas,'” she tweeted. “Sorry, but we have gotten word [from] the casino that we are postponed. Also, MGM Casino in DC/Maryland will be closing down [TONIGHT] indefinitely so Swagg Boutique) is now closed until we get word to re-open.”

In a second tweet, Leakes added, “when the casinos shut down, sh** is real. I’m scared.”

Bravo makes changes

Television production has also been affected by the coronavirus outbreak and RHOA is one that’s been hit by the modifications. Although season 12 already been completely filmed, the ladies were to gather in the coming days for the reunion. For now, Andy Cohen confirmed that the taping has been postponed for the time being.

“Postponed! OMG, we all need something to look forward to and you will get it,” Cohen replied on Twitter to a fan.

Another Bravo show that’s been affected was Watch What Happens Live. The late-night show hosted by Cohen also informed all fans that there won’t be any further tapings for now.

“As a precautionary measure, stating Friday, March 13, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen will suspend production,” read a statement Cohen posted on Twitter. “With the exception of an already recorded episode airing on 3/19, thee will be no new episodes for the time being. The situation is being monitored and we will notify our audience when we resume our live production.”

Nene Leakes was ready for the reunion

With the RHOA season 12 reunion postponed, fans will have to wait to see everything Leakes promised. The OG of the ATL teased that she was going to go in hard on some of the ladies that she’s at odds with.

“These girls … they’re gonna get it, let me tell you. This isn’t a threat, it’s a promise,” Leakes teased during an interview with People.

Leakes promised she would be going to the reunion looking fabulous and all glammed up — with her crown and all.

“I’m going to be beat from head to toe while I do it, sitting there with a full face, wig, dress, high heels this tall, looking fabulous, and tearing the house down,” Leakes continued. “I’m going to get these girls and do it very good and walk right on out and sleep just fine. Is my money in my account? Thank you. The queen is here, you can never wear the crown. They’re all wearing tiaras.”

Leakes said she would be completely different than how she acted during the season 11 reunion. She explained that last year she felt blind-sighted by the girls and shut completely down.

“That is not going to happen again,” she added. “All season long, these girls have had one nasty thing after the other to say about me. They have sat in their interviews and just literally tried to roast me. All of them! And you really expect me not to say anything back? Do you really think I’m that girl? I laid low for a bit, but now, I’m coming for your wig. You’re never going to talk to me and think you’re not going to get it back.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
