‘RHOA’: Porsha Williams Drops Bombshell, Dating Co-Star’s Ex-Husband and Kenya Moore Posts Shady Reaction
Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is living one of her most productive years. The reality TV personality is an entrepreneur, a social justice activist, host of Bravo’s Chat Room, and is now starting a new relationship. After the RHOA Season 13 reunion finale, Williams dropped the biggest bombshell of the year — she’s dating a new man. However, this isn’t just anybody, it’s Falynn Guobadia’s ex.
Porsha Williams confirms she’s dating Falynn Guobadia’s ex-husband
On Mother’s Day, Williams shared a post on Instagram wishing all mothers a great day. In the photos, the RHOA star was pictured in the middle of her ex Dennis McKinley and Simon Guobadia. The chatter among fans of the Bravo reality series spread like a wildfire as they knew Simon was married to Falynn up until recently.
“Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love,” Williams shared on Monday, May 10. “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
Williams knew that people would be criticizing her. The reason for this is that Falynn was a cast member on the show she stars in on the cable network. Although Falynn’s time on RHOA was short-lived, that’s where viewers’ minds went directly.
“For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them,” Williams explained. “Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”
When did Falynn and Simon Guobadia divorce?
It was in April when Falynn announced that she was splitting from her husband Simon. In a note on her Instagram Stories, she made her decision public saying that their two years of marriage was coming to an end.
“We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children,” she said. “This mutual decision was not made lightly, and despite our current willingness to be transparent, we only ask our friends and supporters to be respectful of our privacy as our family gets through this very difficult period.”
Falynn had been introduced to RHOA viewers in season 13 as a “friend of” Williams. On the show, Falynn and Simon even talked about renewing their vows. However, rumors of their separation had been swirling for weeks as fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Photos of each other were also nowhere to be seen.
Kenya Moore throws some shade
Although Williams said that Simon filed for divorce from Falynn in January, Essence reports that in January he was complimenting his wife. Williams said that Simon and her ex Dennis were “stepping up” to see her be happy.
“It’s truly a beautiful moment in my life & we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together,” Williams added.
Meanwhile, RHOA‘s messiest fans were just waiting on one thing — reading Kenya Moore’s reaction. The queen of shade did not miss a beat and posted a reaction without including any text on Twitter.
The video Moore share is of Nicki Minaj repeatedly asking, “Did I lie?”
It wasn’t difficult to understand that Moore was reacting to the bombshell Williams had shared. All this drama will definitely make for an interesting season 14 if they both return as housewives.
Bravo has not confirmed when RHOA Season 14 would start filming.
