‘RHOA’: Porsha Williams’ Relationship Timeline With Falynn’s Ex Simon Guobadia Is…Interesting
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams recently shocked fans with a major announcement — she’s engaged. But that’s not all. After just one month of dating, Porsha is engaged to Simon Guobadia.
The estranged husband of her co-star, Falynn Guobadia. Here’s a look at Porsha and Simon’s relationship timeline.
Porsha Williams met Simon Guobadia during season 13 of ‘RHOA’
During season 13 of RHOA, Falynn, 31, made a limited number of appearances. She and Porsha, 29, did have a few interactions, including one at the home Falynn shared with Simon, 56. Early in the season, Falynn invited Porsha and her pals over for a pool party.
“His wife is just really nice and we exchanged numbers one day and she was like, ‘You should come over,'” Porsha said while explaining that Simon owned an Atlanta restaurant.
At the pool party, Falynn introduced Porsha and the ladies to Simon. The future couple’s first on-camera interaction was a fist bump.

Simon and Falynn tied the knot in 2019. At the same time, Porsha’s on-again, off-again romance with baby daddy Dennis McKinley was playing out. They eventually called it quits for good in 2020.
By January 2021, Simon was ready to end things with Falynn and he filed for divorce. According to court documents filed in Fulton County, Georgia, Simon declared that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
In his petition, Simon shared that he was looking for an “amicable settlement.” But, just one week later, Simon dismissed his divorce complaint.
Simon Guobadia filed for divorce a second time in February
On Valentine’s Day, Simon posted a photo of him and Falynn and wrote a long caption about unconditional love. In the now-deleted post, Simon wrote that loving someone deeply is a life-long journey. He also told his followers to “never give up on love.”
But five days later, Simon filed for divorce a second time. One again, his petition stated that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” He also requested that their prenup be enforced to resolve “all issues of the marriage.”
In March, Falynn acknowledged that she had received the divorce complaint. And on April 22, Simon and Falynn publicly announced their split.
Falynn Guobadia says the decision wasn’t made lightly
In their statement, Falynn and Simon said that after two years of marriage and five years of friendship, they had made the difficult decision to go their separate ways.
“We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other’s lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other’s children,” the statement read. “This mutual decision was not made lightly.”
Four days after announcing their split, Falynn answered Simon’s divorce complaint. But, she denied various parts of his petition. According to People, Falynn said that she and Simon were not “living in a state of bona fide separation” like he had claimed.
She also denied their marriage was “irretrievably broken,” as well as his request for the court to grant a “total divorce.”

On April 30, Falynn apparently accepted Simon’s complaint. The former couple reached a final settlement agreement that enforced the prenup they signed days before their wedding.
Both have waived their right to alimony. There will also be an equitable division of certain assets, per the prenup.
It should be noted that Simon filed his motion for the court to grant the divorce and enforce the divorce settlement on May 5. Less than a week later, Porsha confirmed their relationship and he confirmed the engagement.
“Our relationship began a month ago—yes we are crazy in love,” Porsha wrote on Instagram. “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
“I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some,” Simon said.
