‘RHOBH’: Brandi Glanville Once Revealed How She Knew Eddie Cibrian Was Cheating on Her With LeAnn Rimes

When Brandi Glanville first appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she made it no secret she went through a messy breakup. Glanville’s ex-husband famously cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes before the divorce.

Before Glanville and ex-husband Eddie Cibrian officially separated, Glanville apparently saw the signs of an affair. She once revealed how she knew something was up with Cibrian and Rimes.

Glanville and Cibrian tied the knot in 2001. The couple has two sons together.

In 2009, their marriage broke down after Cibrian had an affair with Rimes, whom he became close to on the set of the movie Northern Lights. On RHOBH, Glanville also said Cibrian had an affair with Scheana Shay, who later became a cast member on Vanderpump Rules.

Glanville and Cibrian’s divorce was finalized in 2010. Cibrian married Rimes less than a year later.

In her 2013 memoir, Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, Glanville revealed all the signs that made her believe Cibrian was having an affair with Rimes. She shared that she saw these signs when she traveled to Calgary, Canada, to visit Cibrian on the set of Northern Lights.

Glanville wrote about a double date she had with Rimes and her then-husband Dean Sheremet. She said, according to Radar Online, “And this woman, whom I had just met, spent more time flirting with my husband than acknowledging her own. And Dean, bless his heart, ate his sushi, laughed at all the right moments, and pretended that he didn’t see exactly what was in front of him.”

“As the evening progressed, every time LeAnn made some sort of inappropriate advance toward my husband – a whisper, a giggle, or a reach across the ever-shrinking table – Eddie squeezed my hand a little tighter,” Glanville continued, “And as if on cue, Eddie would lean over the table, every so often, to offer me a nervous, overly tongue-y kiss to gauge my current state of mind.”

Later on, Glanville alleged that Rimes also “pulled my husband (not hers!) onstage for an awful karaoke rendition of Sonny and Cher’s ‘I Got You Babe.’” According to Glanville, the final straw for her came when Rimes made a sexual joke to Cibrian.

“LeAnn had ‘accidentally’ smeared some cake frosting on her top (she was still a bigger girl and completely flat-chested at the time) and asked my husband, not realizing that I was standing behind the both of them, if he’d wanted to lick it off her,” Glanville said. “This woman asked my husband if he wanted to eat the frosting mess she’d dropped on her nonexistent chest? Are you f**king kidding me? He hadn’t realized I was there either, and he laughed with hungry eyes at the suggestion.”

When Glanville confronted Cibrian and Rimes, both of them reportedly told Glanville she was worrying about nothing. Her suspicions were only confirmed when she saw photos of Cibrian and Rimes having dinner together and kissing came out in the press.

For many years, Glanville made it clear she did not like Rimes. However, the two ladies are on better terms now.

“I think we both grew up a lot because, obviously, it was a decade of fighting,” she said recently on the Hollywood Raw podcast. “I think our kids had a lot to do with it because the kids love when we’re all together, and it’s so obvious. They’re so happy. They’re giddy little creatures.”

Glanville also shared she and Rimes feel like “sister wives.”
