‘RHOBH’: Brandi Glanville’s Ex-Husband Eddie Cibrian Apparently Did This 1 ‘Sleazy’ Thing During Their Divorce
When Brandi Glanville first appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2011, her divorce status was one of the first things viewers learned about her. Throughout the seasons, fans also continued to hear more about what went on between Glanville and her ex-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian.
However, not every detail about the divorce was aired on TV. In fact, Glanville recently revealed on her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, one “sleazy” move Cibrian made to give him the upper hand.
Brandi Glanville’s divorce was a big subject on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Glanville appeared on RHOBH for the first time on season 2 before becoming a regular cast member on season 3.
Glanville openly talked about her divorce from Cibrian. They welcomed two kids together, but Glanville claimed that he cheated on her multiple times during their marriage.
One of Cibrian’s mistresses was Scheana Shay, who later became a cast member on Vanderpump Rules.
In 2009, it was also revealed that Cibrian had an affair with singer LeAnn Rimes. Glanville and Cibrian filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Cibrian and Rimes got married in 2011.
Brandi Glanville said Eddie Cibrian did this 1 ‘sleazy’ thing during the divorce
On Jan. 15, Glanville released an episode of her podcast called “The Ins and Outs of Divorce.” During the episode, she talked with divorce attorney Dror Bikel about many aspects of ending a marriage.
Seeing as Glanville had already gone through a public divorce herself, it was not surprising that she decided to share some of her own stories with listeners.
“My ex-husband called all of the good attorneys [in Los Angeles]—just to call and set up meetings—so that when I called, they were like, ‘It’s a conflict of interest,’” she revealed.
Because of this, Glanville said she got “the worst attorney” during her divorce proceedings.
Bikel noted that the move was “a really sleazy thing to do,” though he admitted that many divorce attorneys have very little ways to know when someone is pulling that trick.
Brandi Glanville shared that she was also not nice during her divorce
It is well known among relationship experts that couples who once loved each other could turn nasty during divorce proceedings. Glanville also shared that she was not on her best behavior either while having legal battles with Cibrian.
“I think divorce definitely brings out the worst in people,” she told Bikel. “I know I wasn’t my best self during my divorce because I was so angry. It was the worst time. I was the worst human being that I could be during that.”
Glanville added, “To think that someone that you loved so much could then want to go through the house and say, ‘You get this, you get this.’ It’s just so crazy.”
Bikel agreed. He noted, “It’s a journey of a lot of pain, a lot of hurt, a lot of miscommunication, a lot of anger over a period of time. That’s what happens.”
