USA Today reports that the 48-year-old plays the role of Shauna, a single mother who doesn’t always reveal the truth about things. Richards has admitted that soap opera acting is different from what she is used to, but we have to say that she appears to be doing just fine! So, why is it that her husband, Aaron Phypers, is suddenly starring alongside her?
Well, the reason is actually quite simple. As we know, The Bold and the Beautiful has plenty of love scenes. According to TV Insider, the actors currently can’t engage in kissing scenes due to coronavirus precautions, so Richards’ husband has stepped up to the plate to stand in for Thorsten Kaye, who plays Richards’ love interest.
What does Kaye have to say about his temporary replacement? According to the actor Phypers “… is a beast. I don’t know how many hours a day he goes to the gym, but I’m glad he does because if they’re doing just neck down, I’m perfectly fine with that.”
