‘RHOBH’: Garcelle Beauvais Won’t Return to Season 11 If Denise Richards Doesn’t
Garcelle Beauvais is wrapping up her first season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The new Bravo star has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to her checking the rest of the ladies when they are out of bounds. Beauvais has aligned herself with Denise Richards and has developed a genuine friendship. Their bond is so strong that Beauvais said she won’t return if Richards doesn’t either.
Is Garcelle Beauvais coming back?
Beauvais is the first Black RHOBH star and has been a hit with viewers. One housewife that is not having a good time is Richards, who is at the center of controversy. Brandi Glanville alleges to have hooked up with the Wild Things actress, something that the latter denies.
As the drama goes back and forth, Beauvais has been on Richards’s corner as the rest of the ladies question her. Their friendship has been solidified so much that Beauvais said she wouldn’t return for season 11 if Richards is not there either.
“We talked about that yesterday and I said, ‘I hope so,'” Beauvais said on SiriusXM Stars of Richards returning for another season. “She’s like, ‘If you don’t come back, I’m not coming back.’ I’m like, ‘If you don’t come back, I’m not coming back.'”
Beauvais is hopeful that she will be returning for a second season but is a little hesitant after Lisa Rinna warned her about returning.
“At the reunion, Rinna said, ‘Your first season is always nice and pleasant and the second [season] they come for you.’ I said, ‘Is that a warning?’ And she goes, ‘Yes!'” Beauvais added.
Brandi Glanville was cut from the reunion
Glanville, who dropped the rumor about hooking up with Richards, was axed from the reunion at the last minute.
“I was set to do the [RHOBH] reunion yesterday with all the ladies,” Glanville said on her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast. “I had the tech rehearsal and everything. You all know that I don’t cancel, I don’t run away. I’m not a coward and I’m happy to get in there and fight.”
The Celebrity Big Brother alum said that it was best for the show if Glanville didn’t show up at the reunion as it would steal focus from other topics. However, Glanville will have an opportunity to listen to her side during a solo interview with Andy Cohen.
“We honestly came to a mutual decision that instead of going to the reunion, as I was set to do, that I would sit down separately with Andy [Cohen] and do a one-on-one,” Glanville explained.
“[Producers] didn’t want what happened last year where Camille [Grammer] came on in the end and everyone piled on Camille and Camille went crazy. Ultimately let these bi***es earn their paycheck.”
Rinna was one of the Housewives upset Glanville was cut from the reunion and explained why on Instagram.
“If I have to hear one more person say why they think I was mad about the reunion… here, let me tell you myself,” she posted. “I was mad because at the 11th hour they decided to not have Brandi come tell her side of the story. Isn’t that what the reunion is for?”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
