There is allegedly some turmoil behind-the-scenes of the upcoming tenth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Could Denise Richards be leaving the show after this season and is she related to Kyle and Kim Richards?

Denise Richards’ history with both sisters

Despite sharing the same last name, Denise Richards is not related to sisters Kyle and Kim, although she and Kyle Richards have a lot of history together. The latter said on the season 9 premiere of the show, “11 years ago, I was part of this ‘Hollywood moms’ group. It was Lisa Rinna, Denise Richards, Ali Landry, myself, Alison Sweeney, and we would get together now and then. Everyone would bring a potluck, whatever their favorite dessert was, and that’s how I got to know Denise originally.”

Kim Richards, who departed as a main cast member after Denise Richards came on, didn’t really know her prior to the show. “I don’t know her; I’ve just seen her, but I felt like, ‘OK, so I didn’t come back, so [bring on] another Richards. Add it to the list. I think she’s beautiful and I wish them all the luck,” she said before the season began.

On the show, Denise helped end the feud between Kim Richards (who was guest-starring) and Rinna. But now, it is rumored that Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna could be feuding in season 10.

How Denise Richards feels about ‘RHOBH’ right now

Denise Richards has reportedly skipped filming much of season 10 of the show because she’s unhappy with it. Rinna even called her out in an Instagram post a few weeks ago after she wasn’t present at the finale shoot.

It is being reported that Kyle Richards, seemingly an ally to Denise, could be the reason behind her downfall. Brandi Glanville allegedly warned Denise.

“Brandi [Glanville] called Denise early in the season because Kyle had told Brandi that Denise was going to be the one person that the other ladies picked on this season in Lisa Vanderpump‘s absence. Kyle said that everything that the audience liked about Denise last season is what the ladies would use against her this season,” a source told Hollywood Life.

Glanville denied these rumors on Twitter, saying “I’m just gonna say that neither Kyle nor Denise has ever said a negative word to me about one another LIES !!! And Merry Christmas Eve.”

Will Denise Richards leave ‘RHOBH’

Many people believe that this could be the last season for Denise Richards. “She doesn’t seem to be enjoying doing the show as much this season and nobody would be surprised if it were to be her last. She wants to be doing acting more and Housewives has opened other opportunities for her. She’s really not about the drama and seems to be disconnected from it at times. A lot of the cast is frustrated with her lack of participation still this season,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

It makes sense that Denise Richards would continue to pursue more acting opportunities. She’s currently a series regular on the CBS daytime soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. However, soap actresses are not new to the show, as Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna have starred on their respective soaps while on the show as well.
