‘RHOBH’ Star Lisa Rinna Fires Back at Sutton Stracke Again Over Claims About Elton John Event — ‘I Am This Petty’
Lisa Rinna is never afraid to get messy on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Days of our Lives alum has gained a reputation on the Bravo series for stirring the pot to create drama over the years. Rinna is involved in a new feud with fellow co-star Sutton Stracke, but this time it wasn’t her doing. Stracke made a claim about Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin and the Melrose Place alum is firing back, showing the receipts and not letting the mouse go.
Why are the Bravo stars feuding?
Rinna introduced Stracke during RHOBH Season 10 as a friend, but the two stars are not as close as viewers were led to believe. When Stracke made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, September 22, she made a revelation that shocked viewers. Stracke told host Andy Cohen that there was a time Rinna didn’t thank her after she invited her to an Elton John event.
“A few years ago, Harry and Lisa, I invited them to the Elton John gala and they came with me as my guests… I never got a thank you,” she said surprising Cohen.
Rinna was seemingly watching WWHL and replied in real-time on her Instagram Stories, debunking Stracke’s claims.
“We didn’t come as your guests [Sutton Stracke], [Elton John] invited us to his event, you asked us to sit at your table. So we did. Let’s just make that clear,” Rinna posted.
In a second post, she added, “We’ve gone to the fabulous Elton John Oscar party for years. I remember going in 2006 while I was doing [Dancing with the Stars] and dancing the night away. We love Elton John and David Furnish. It’s truly incredible all of the money they have raised for The Elton John AIDS Foundation.”
Furthermore, Stracke was confronted with Rinna’s response live on WWHL when Cohen read the statement to her.
Stracke said that she bought a whole table at Elton John’s gala where Rinna and Hamlin sat and added, “Perhaps they do not know that I actually bought those tickets for them. So maybe that’s a miscommunication.”

In addition, Rinna continued the feud the following day by posting on her Instagram Stories once again. Rinna quoted “Money can’t buy you class” by Countess Luann de Lesseps in reference to Stracke. Taking advantage that it was Thursday, Rinna also posted a throwback photo.
Rinna shared a photo of herself and Hamlin at Elton John’s Oscar party in 2019 and continued to get messy.
“Guests of Elton, not Sutton. But I love that Sutton bought a table, and all of the money went to the @eltonjohn aids foundation. That’s a good thing!” Rinna posted. “I loved this look! And yes, I am this petty.”
