‘RHOC’ Alum Vicki Gunvalson Shares Christmas List and What Is Really Important to Her
Vicki Gunvalson is best known for her outbursts on The Real Housewives of Orange County. The entrepreneur entertained Bravo viewers for 15 years and continues to be an icon. As Christmas approaches, Gunvalson is getting reflective and posted a quote on Instagram about what’s really important in life.
What does Vicki Gunvalson want for Christmas?
Gunvalson might not be on RHOC anymore but her life continues to be a rollercoaster of emotions. Earlier this year the insurance maven tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) and soon after announced that she had broken up with her fiancé Steve Lodge. The various situations that Gunvalson has faced in 2021 have seemingly made her be more reflective on what is truly important to ask for during the holidays.
In the spirit of Christmas, Gunvalson shared a quote that made her think about her Christmas list.
“I think as you grow older your Christmas list gets shorter, because the things you want can’t be bought,” read the quote shared by Gunvalson.
Gunvalson is looking forward to the new year and shared her thoughts on the meaning of the quote.
“I saw this post this morning and I don’t know if you feel the same way, but I sure do,” she posted on Instagram. “What do you think? For me…. It’s HEALTH, family, loyalty, trust, honesty, not being used, being happy, being kind to one another, oh…. And did I say health? For those that are suffering with any health issues this season, I’m lifting you all up in prayers. Peace be with you all this holiday season.”
Fans share their thoughts on Vicki Gunvalson’s reflection
After Gunvalson shared her reflection, it wasn’t long before her fans weighed in on the quote and added their thoughts on the true meaning of Christmas.
“That is so true!! Family is everything! Not about the gifts! Merry Christmas,” a fan replied.
“Absolutely 100%! And of course, health is number one! It’s very hard on people like us when we’re deceived by people we were loyal to and they turn their backs on us as if we are trash and scum! It’s hard to trust again and love again because how do you trust and love when you’ve been deceived by those who trusted and loved!” a follower shared.
“That post is so very true! It’s definitely health, happiness, loyalty trust, love, kindness, giving and being compassionate, honesty. Happy Holidays to you and your family,” an Instagram user said.
“We hardly ever buy gifts at my family it’s togetherness and food very simple best memories,” another fan added.
“ABSOLUTELY!! A life of love, happiness, and health for all your family cannot be bought!” another follower commented.
“Wise words!! I’m realizing this now!” another Instagram user mentioned.
Vicki Gunvalson felt taken advantage of by her former fiancé
Fans may have noticed that in Gunvalson’s reflection, she talked about loyalty and trust. Gunvalson was seemingly referring to her former fiancé who she says lied to her.
“He used me, he lied to me, he’s been dating a 36-year-old and is not what he portrays himself to be. No Christian man would do what he’s done,” Gunvalson replied in an Instagram post earlier this year.
Lodge has denied ever lying to Gunvalson and says that she’s only doing it for attention.
“She’s looking for attention to get back on a show, any show, and she just doesn’t understand the word no,” he told Hollywood Life. “I told her a long time ago I was done [with our relationship]. She kept hounding me relentlessly, but I kept saying I was done. I’ve moved on and she obviously hasn’t.”
Gunvalson will be returning to The Real Housewives world in 2022 for a limited series on Peacock starring former housewives stars
