‘RHOC’ Alum Vicki Gunvalson Tackles Rumors She’s Dating a Man 36 Years Younger
Vicki Gunvalson is one of the former stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Bravo fans got to see all of her ups and downs on the reality series for 14 seasons and the insurance maven is still making headlines. Days after celebrating her 59th birthday, there have been rumors she’s dating someone 36 years younger than her. Gunvalson is breaking her silence and setting the record straight.
Did Vicki Gunvalson break up with her fiancé?
Despite leaving RHOC after season 14, some fans are still invested in Gunvalson’s life journey. The last viewers saw of her she was riding off a limo with her fiancé Steve Lodge. Although her followers always questioned if he was a right fit for her, Gunvalson showed she had plans to settle down with the former police officer.
Gunvalson is someone that is extremely active on social media is constantly sharing updates on her everyday life. One person that has been missing was Lodge, who doesn’t make that many appearances on Gunvalson’s Instagram. People began noting Lodge’s absence and rumors started circulating the couple had broken up.
“Just because Steve and I don’t always share pictures of each other on social media, is not indicative of the status of our relationship,” Gunvalson told Champion Daily back in December 2020. “I flew to North Carolina on a red-eye to spend Christmas Day with Briana [Culberson] and her family while Steve stayed back and spent Christmas in California. I am currently en route to my home in Puerto Vallarta to spend New Year’s with Steve.”
The reality TV personality recently bought a condo in Mexico and spends a lot of time by the beach. In her statement she shared that she was balancing her family and career and makes the most out of her time with her fiancé.

Despite Gunvalson slamming rumors back in December that she had split from Lodge, more gossip surrounded the former RHOC star. In recent weeks, it was reported that Gunvalson was dating a guy that was 23-years-old. If the rumor was true, that would mean Gunvalson would’ve been in a romance with someone 36 years younger than her. However, the entrepreneur has debunked all the allegations.
“In regards to the rumor that I am no longer engaged and that I am currently dating a 23-year-old,” Gunvalson told Celebuzz about the ridiculous rumors adding a “LOL”.
“This is absolute pure and utter tabloid gossip that someone made up,” Gunvalson added. “If you’ve been following me, you would definitely know I am certainly not dating a 23-year-old. This allegation is so ridiculous I actually laughed when asked about it at first. Clearly the press must be bored today.”
‘RHOC’ is on pause
As Gunvalson’s love life comes into question, her former co-stars have been put on pause. RHOC, the show that started all the other housewives franchises, has been halted after 15 seasons. Andy Cohen recently revealed they are in no rush to start filming season 16.
“The status of OC right now is that we’re just taking a pause. We’re in no rush to get into production,” Cohen told Variety. “One of the benefits of Salt Lake City coming out so strong out of the gate and becoming such a hit is you don’t need to be in such a rush then to get Orange County back, because you have more to play with.”
Cohen didn’t reveal how long the pause would last but said that a cast shakeup might happen as producers weigh options on how to move forward.
