‘RHOC’ Season 16: Porsha Williams Guesses Vicki Gunvalson ‘Pop-up’ as Heather Dubrow Talks ‘Plot Twist’
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 16 is in for a major cast shakeup with the return of Heather Dubrow. The actor is coming back to the franchise after four seasons off of the reality series. Dubrow has hinted of possibly bringing back former housewives that she shared seasons with but can’t fully say it. However, when she stopped by Bravo’s Chat Room, co-host Porsha Williams deciphered Dubrow’s words when she talked about a “plot twist.”

With the return of Dubrow to RHOC, Bravo wanted to shake things up and go back to when the reality series was at the height of its popularity. While appearing on Bravo’s Chat Room, Williams and Gizelle Bryant, tried to get Dubrow to spill the tea on the new season and give the fans a tease of what was to come. The Jenny alum was coy about who was in the cast but hint at “newbies” making things “very interesting.”
“I think that the audience was really clear about the fact that Orange County needed to shake up and shook up it was,” she revealed. “A lot of people are gone, I came back, and there’s definitely some new characters on the show, but it’ll certainly be very, very, very interesting — I think you’re right on track.”
Williams insisted Dubrow give the viewers another “exclusive tidbit” about RHOC Season 16 and this is where things got even more interesting.
“So, here’s the thing. We’re about to go on a trip — on the show. And it seems as though there may be a little shake-up a little plot twist about to happen on this trip,” she teased.
Williams jumped in and attempted to “decode” Dubrow’s words saying, “I feel like the girls might be on a trip and there may be a Vicki pop-up — I’m just saying.”
“All I can say is — it’s going to be fun,” Dubrow added.
Heather Dubrow talks about bringing former ‘RHOC’ cast members back
Dubrow is not closed off to the idea of bringing former RHOC cast members back to the show. When she made an appearance on Daily Pop, she talked about the idea of having Gunvalson and Tamra Judge back as her co-stars.
“I think it would be really fun to bring back what largely a lot of people consider the golden years of [RHOC],” Dubrow mentioned. “And so I think what the audience wants is the fun. I mean, drama always happens but back in the day, it was drama like she broke the bow off my cake or something silly, you know.”
In a separate interview, Gunvalson said that she had been in talks with Andy Cohen about possibly returning to RHOC. Despite holding conversations with the executive producer, she said nothing came about it but was hopeful they could still call her.
“I had been talking to Andy [Cohen], I really thought it was gonna happen,” Gunvalson said on Access Hollywood’s web show Housewives Nightcap. “I mean you never know, midway through the season they might need us to save the day, but as of right now, no. We have no contract. There’s nothing going on.”
The RHOC Season 16 cast includes Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson. Housewives that were axed last season were Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn-Vargas.
