‘RHOC’: Shannon Beador Sobs on Instagram Looking for Missing Dog Archie – ‘Did Somebody Take Him?’
A distraught and sobbing Shannon Beador begged for help from fans on Instagram because her beloved dog Archie has gone missing.
The Real Housewives of Orange County pup went missing in the early hours after Halloween night and Beador says she’s been looking for him, worried someone has possibly taken him.

Beador made an impassioned plea on her Instagram stories for help finding Archie. “It is past 4 am,” she said through her tears. “And Archie somehow someway is missing. I don’t know how it happened, but I’m yelling his name every two seconds for the last five hours.” She included “please help” in her story video.
“So if anyone here in Port Streets has seen my dog,” she continued, fighting back the tears. “We’re all devastated. We’ve been looking for him for hours. And we don’t know how this happened.” Beador clearly struggled to speak and became overwhelmed with emotion.
“Please …” she begged. “Please help us if you’ve seen Archie. Thank you.”

She then worried that perhaps he was stolen. “If someone took Archie I will find you,” she wrote over her next story video. “I have over 20 cameras on my property so get ready. Just bring him home. Or we can do it the other way … I will never back down.”
Beador walked over to one of Archie’s toys sitting outside in the yard. “This is what we call Archie’s doggy,” she said. “And he carried it in his mouth all night tonight. So why is it out here on the sidewalk? Did somebody take him?” She added, “I don’t know what’s going on.”
She shared a sweet photo of Archie wearing a blonde wig on days earlier. “Someone’s ready for Halloween…,” she wrote.
She’s faced backlash from ‘RHOC’ fans over Archie’s care in the past
Beador recently faced a health scare for Archie in Jan. 2021 when she noticed he wasn’t eating and seemed lethargic. “Archie is not doing well,” she shared on Instagram. “All of a sudden he is having trouble walking and is lethargic. He hasn’t eaten anything different or had any accident. He is being monitored by the vet. Please keep him in your thoughts as we are all very worried. Hoping that 2021 brings him good health and that everyone has a safe, healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!”
But a few days later, she shared he was feeling better. “We are so grateful for all of your comments and prayers about Archie! Today he turned a corner and is acting like himself!!!” she wrote. “We are forever blessed to have our man back! Thank you so much for your support!!!”
Beador has been criticized in the past about her dog’s weight and energy levels. Fans pointed out that Archie looked overweight and exhausted in 2020. But Beador said he had recently played with another dog and he looked heavy because of his thick coat.
“He was not tired, he just played with another dog,” Beador, along with boyfriend John Janssen in an Instagram video. “He’s not overweight. If he goes in the pool, you could see his coat is very thick.”
Janssen added, “He doesn’t have arthritis.”
