Tamra Judge is spilling the tea on The Real Housewives of Orange County and how shady editors can be. At the beginning of season 14, Kelly Dodd faced rumors that she was involved in a “train,” which is something she always denied. After a dinner scene where Vicki Gunvalson and Judge put the allegations out in the open, there was an SUV scene that followed that wasn’t entirely factual.

How was the fake scene made?

The scene involved Shannon Beador and Judge talking about the Dodd rumor but there was only audio of the scene. Cameras filmed an SUV and played the audio as a voice-over. Neither Beador nor Judge were seen and now the latter is revealing the truth behind it.

During a guest appearance on the Jeff Lewis Live show, Judge explained how that scene was shot. She said that the actual conversation between her and Beador never occurred. Editors took sound bytes from Judge talking to producers off-camera and spliced them together.

“All this stuff happened off-camera. Normally when that happens, they’ll have us talk in our interviews and we’ll explain what happened,” Judge said on the SiriusXM show. “This time, we talked in our interviews and told everybody what happened and then they had an SUV driving off and there’s audio.”

Judge said no one was inside the SUV driving off and added that, “they took that audio and pieced it together in a conversation that wasn’t accurate that made me look bad.”

In an Instagram Stories Q&A, Judge had with her fans, she said that she had “some shady editing.”

“[It] not only made me look bad but was totally made up,” Beador wrote.

In a second answer, she wrote, “I rarely complain about edits. I know what I signed up for. I can make myself look like an a**hole all by myself. However, using subtitled and piecing together interview questions as an empty SUV drives away to make me look bad is not cool and not reality. I didn’t sign up for that.”

Judge also said that the SUV scene was brought up during the reunion but producers edited out that bit.

Tamra Judge hits at ‘RHOC’ return

The CBD business owner left RHOC after 12 seasons on the show after she declined an offer for a limited role. At the time she also opted not to continue when she found out her ex-husband was battling cancer.

“Those three episodes wouldn’t make any sense to me because I am very much a person who is very honest on the show,” Judge told People. “At the time, Simon did not want to come forward with it, so I could not talk about it. It didn’t make any sense for me to be like, ‘I’m sorry, I’ve been very busy now, gotta go,’ because it would be a lie. I couldn’t be honest. I couldn’t be real.”

However, during her interview with Jeff Lewis she revealed she had been approached to continue doing reality. When she told Andy Cohen she had an offer, the Bravo producer told her to hold off because she would be returning to RHOC.

“It was a job to me and when this job ended, I never thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to get another show,’ because I don’t have agents,” Judge said on the SiriusXM show. “Well, I’ve been approached. Andy told me to hold off on signing any kind of contract, run it past him first cause he says that I’ll be back next year.”

For the time being, Judge will focus on her CBD business as well as her gym that she runs with her husband Eddie Judge.
