The Real Housewives of Miami gave viewers a peek into how Miami socialites live and party.

The original cast was a fascinating blend of homegrown Miami natives and South Florida transplants, which included the wife of a famed attorney and professional basketball player. Despite the major drama and plenty of spice, this arm of the franchise only ran for three seasons.

The first episode aired in February 2011 and introduced viewers to the unique South Florida lifestyle and the women who were part of high society. Only two of the original cast members remained as main cast members for all three seasons with a few dipping in and out of the “friend” status. So where is the original cast today?

Lea Black

Lea Black, wife of famed attorney Roy Black continues to have a presence on Bravo. She’s made numerous appearances on Flipping Out and is often a guest on Jeff Lewis’s SiriusXM radio show. She’s active on Twitter, sharing insightful political opinions.

Black also has her own skincare line. She also offered a nice discount on her beauty line during the quarantine too. “Enjoy 50% off select Lea Black Beauty and Skincare with code SPRING2020 at checkout on leablack.com. Adriana de Moura

Adriana de Moura and Black were besties, then they weren’t. Did the ladies ever squash their beef? They weren’t in the best place in 2013. “I pretty much felt like she sold out our friendship in order to stay relevant,” de Moura told Bravo’s The Daily Dish in 2013. “She threw me under the bus. It was very hurtful.” So hurtful that Adriana seemed doubtful as to the future of their friendship. “We’re working on it,” she added. “It’s just very hard because once that trust is broken…”

Viewers watched de Moura fall in love and get engaged to Frederic Marq. The couple put their gorgeous Miami crib on the market in 2018. They asked close to $5 million for the 2,795-square-foot Spanish-style abode. Like Black, de Moura remained on the series for the duration.

Alexia Echevarria

According to her bio, Alexia Echevarria is the “’Cuban Barbie’ [who] holds the pulse of Miami’s Latin culture. As the Executive Editor of Venue Magazine, Alexia spotlights the latest fashion trends as well as up-and-coming Latin film and TV stars.”

A big part of Echevarria’s storyline was the horrific 2011 car accident her youngest son Frankie endured. Her son was only 13 years old when he was in the accident, spent three months in a pediatric intensive unit and then three months in rehabilitation. Echevarria often shares photos of both of her sons and recently celebrated Frankie’s birthday.

“Happy Birthday Frankie!! You are my strength and my angel ! God has been so good to me . He gave you as my son two times. You have taught me that no matter what, we all can find new ways to live our life and be happy with it. You have made me a better person,” she wrote in a birthday post. Echevarria was a main cast member for season one and season three. She appeared as a friend during season two.

Marysol Patton

Marysol Patton was the Miami-based public relations executive who was looking for love during season one of the show. Patton eventually found love with French businessman Philippe Pautesta-Herder. The couple had a breathtaking wedding ceremony atop a snow-covered mountain in Aspen but divorced two years later.

Patton’s mother, “Mama Elsa” also became a focal point of the show. Elsa often provided spiritual guidance to her daughter and others on the show and had a huge fan following. Patton confirmed to Page Six that her mother died on Mother’s Day in 2019 at age 84.

“Our beloved Elsa Patton (AKA Mama Elsa) passed away over Mother’s Day weekend after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family and close friends.  Elsa was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Donald Patton who passed away last February of 2018,” she shared. Patton was a main cast member for season one and two, returning as a friend during season three.

Larsa Pippen

Larsa Pippen is the wife of former NBA player Scottie Pippen. Unlike the rest of the cast, Pippen lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, about 30 minutes north of Miami. She only appeared on the show for season one and a big part of her storyline was being a mother to her four children, who had some nanny issues.

Since leaving the show, Pippen moved back to Chicago. She told the Chicago Sun-Times that, “I feel like the people in Chicago are really grounded. It’s better for our family.” She also became extremely close friends with Kim Kardashian. She appeared on Kourtney & Kim Take Miami after leaving RHOM and is still pals with Kardashian today. Pippen only appeared on season one of the show.

Cristy Rice

Cristy Rice only appeared on RHOM for season one and was recently divorced from NBA player Glen Rice when she appeared on the series. At the time, she was a single mom of three children and ran a clothing store. In 2014 she rolled out her own swimwear line.

Rice’s children are now teens and young adults. She recently shared a family picture in November. “Where there is family, there is LOVE♥️
My Everything🦋 Grateful🍁 Blessed💯Happy Thanksgiving 2019,” she wrote.
