‘RHONJ’: Jennifer Aydin Is ‘Done Criticizing’ Jackie Goldschneider — ‘Living Your Best Life Is the Ultimate Revenge’
Jennifer Aydin is back on The Real Housewives of New Jersey showcasing her fabulous life. Fans of the Bravo series know that season 11 started off with a bang as Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider got into an epic feud. Aydin has her own problematic past with Goldschneider and in an interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet is weighing in on the encounter.
What started the feud between Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider?
RHONJ Season 11 got off to an explosive start when Giudice went around her friend group asking about a rumor. The allegations were about Goldschneider’s husband supposedly having an affair. When Giudice and Goldschneider met to sort things out, the latter made an analogy that made the former explode.
“What I did was make an analogy… you can’t just say something, because once it’s out there, it hurts,” Goldschneider told Showbiz Cheat Sheet recently. “And it’s unfortunate that Teresa didn’t see that that was an analogy, which I think most people will see.”
As an example of things that no one wants out there, Goldschneider said that she heard that Gia Giudice was doing drugs. None of it was true, but Giudice responded in the same manner that Goldschneider did when she heard the allegations about her husband.
“She pushed me to my limit, I reached a boiling point, and I needed to make her understand how hurtful words could be,” she added. “I did present it as an analogy. And I think the fact that she missed that, was the reason why she exploded. But I think most people can tell that that was an analogy.”
Does Jennifer Aydin think Jackie Goldschneider handled the situation well?
Showbiz Cheat Sheet was able to talk to Aydin about the situation between Goldschneider and Giudice. Since Aydin had some missteps with Goldschneider in the past, she gave her take on how she would’ve handled the situation differently.
“Being on a reality show and being on this platform, you’re opening yourself up to constant criticism and judgments and rumors,” she told us. “I feel like all of that go hand-in-hand, and it’s how you receive it or react to it that really makes the call on how it’s gonna go down. Jackie had the power to just be like, ‘Alright, do you have any proof? No? Say what now? OK, let’s keep it moving.’ And she didn’t. Instead, she went totally to the left.”
Aydin added that she “would not have handled it that way. But, I’m not here to criticize how she handles things. I’m done with criticizing Jackie.”
Despite their differences in the past, Aydin says that there’s a “mutual respect” between the two of them.
“I feel like there’s a mutual respect there, I hope so. There is on my end,” she said. “But you know what I say? Just kill ’em with kindness. Living your best life is the ultimate revenge.”
