‘RHONJ’: Some Fans Think Teresa Giudice’s Boyfriend Is a ‘Younger Version’ Of Her Ex: ‘Joe’s Lookalike’
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is dating again. She introduced her new boyfriend, Luis (Louis) Ruelas, to the world back in November 2020, and the two have been inseparable over the last few months.
Though Teresa is smitten, some fans can’t help but think they see a familiar face in Luis — Teresa’s ex, Joe Giudice.

Teresa and Joe’s marriage had been somewhat rocky pretty much the entire time they were both on RHONJ. The couple filed for bankruptcy in 2009, in the midst of building their massive Montville, New Jersey home, and there were rumors that Joe had been cheating on Teresa. Then, in 2013, Teresa and Joe were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, and bank fraud. And from there, the couple’s marriage unraveled even more.
Teresa and Joe each spent time in prison, and Joe, who was born in Italy, was later deported. He’s still fighting the decision but has been living in Italy since Oct. 2019. For a while, the two were on the fence about whether or not to continue their marriage. But with Joe’s plans to return to the U.S. not panning out so easily, the couple ultimately decided to get a divorce.
Fans think Teresa Giudice’s new man is a ‘younger’ version of Joe
Teresa and the girls went to Italy to see Joe after he moved back there, and he and Teresa ultimately decided that they would end their marriage. The two finalized their divorce in Sept. 2020, and it didn’t take long for either of them to meet someone new.
Teresa and her new boyfriend, Luis Ruelas, were first spotted together in Nov. 2020, and their relationship has been going strong since. Teresa has posted various photos with her new man, including when the two went hiking in California in late January. But fans noticed something interesting about Luis — his appearance.
“Oh damn I thought she was back together with Joe,” one fan wrote under Teresa’s Instagram photo.
“He looks a bit like Joe Giudice lol,” another person commented.
“Joe in younger version,” someone else said.
Someone else said Luis was “Joe’s lookalike.” Still, others thought Luis and Teresa looked great together, and fans were happy that Teresa seemed to happy with someone new. “You look so happy,” one fan wrote.

Teresa and her new man are loving the life they’ve started building together. Teresa recently wrote under Luis’ Instagram post that she’s “so happy” he came into her life. Teresa and Joe, on the other hand, appear to be on good terms for the sake of their kids. (Joe has recently started dating someone new, too.)
It’s unclear what Teresa’s daughters think of her new man, but judging from the comments on her photos, her friends are happy to see her living her best life.
