‘RHONJ’: Teresa Giudice Says She’d Rather ‘Get Back Together With Joe Giudice’ Than ‘Hang Out With Melissa’
The Real Housewives of New Jersey feuds run deep. And such is the case with Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. The women have had nothing short of a rocky relationship through the years, and although they tried to make amends on a number of occasions (and were successful at a few points), the friendship never seems to last.
Now, things between Teresa and Melissa have become worse than ever, and Teresa recently revealed that she would rather get back with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, than have to spend one more second with her brother’s wife.
Teresa Giudice chooses Joe Giudice over Melissa Gorga
The RHONJ cast has seen nothing but drama during season 14. It seems women who used to be close aren’t anymore, and women who used to be on bad terms are now friends. But one thing that has carried over from last season is the longstanding feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. The two ladies had a falling out years ago after Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, had drama with Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga. Things got better after Teresa went to prison, and it seemed that she and Melissa were friends again. But it didn’t last, and by the end of season 13, Melissa and Joe had opted not to attend Teresa’s wedding to Louis Ruelas.
On Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen on June 9, Teresa and Andy did a quick game of Would You Rather? — she had to decide if she’d rather do one task or hang out with Melissa. And when Andy asked if Teresa would rather get back with her ex or hang out with Melissa, Teresa chose the former — even with Louis in the room.
Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are not on speaking terms
Things between Melissa and Teresa have become so bad that the women don’t even talk. During last week’s episode, Melissa and Teresa both attended Danielle Cabral’s Boujie Brunch, yet they didn’t say one word to each other the whole time.
While on Watch What Happens Live!, Teresa refused to say Melissa’s name; when she wanted to reference her, she just gestured, and Andy got the message. At this point, it seems like Teresa and the Gorgas will never have a relationship again, though there have certainly been times in the past where people thought they would never speak again, and they did. Of course, time will tell if the two of them can work through their issues, but most people around Teresa and Melissa think their relationship is done for good.
