Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider feels like she can hold her own with the New Jersey crowd. Though she joined the cast more recently than many of the other housewives, fans and (most of) her co-stars agree she fits right in.

Jackie was asked recently who of the housewives outside of New Jersey she’s glad she doesn’t have to “deal with.” She said Erika Jayne.

Who is Erika Jayne?

Erika Jayne is Erika Girardi’s stage name. She’s a singer and actor in addition to being a reality star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In 2007, her single “Roller Coaster,” was at the top of the US Billboard Dance Club Songs. In 2016, Billboard ranked her 42 on it’s list of greatest dance club artists of all time and number 3 on the Next Big Sound list.

As a television actor, Erika has starred in Law & Order, High Incident, and The Young and the Restless. In 2020, she starred as Roxie in Chicago on Broadway.

She also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2017.

On RHOBH, viewers get to see an inside look at Erika’s work life.

“My performance life, it is my life. That is my home life… That is my job,” she told Entertainment Tonight back in 2019.

Erika is also known to have strong opinions and hold her own in an argument, much like Jackie.

Why Jackie Goldschneider is glad Erika Girardi isn’t on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’

Jackie told The Domenick Nati Show on July 22 that she’s relieved Erika isn’t on RHONJ.

“Which housewife would you not want to deal with on ‘New Jersey’?” asked Nati.

Apparently, Erika is a bit intimidating to Jackie. The New Jersey reality star admitted she’s “a little scared of Erika Jayne.” Mostly, she’d just be nervous to get in an argument with her.

“I think that if she did something bad I might be afraid to open my mouth to her because I think she chews people up and spits them out,” she said.

Jackie went on to say that, while she “can handle anyone,” there’s no denying that so can Erika.

“I mean, I can handle anyone, but I just don’t know that I want to get involved with that. She’s a strong female. She is a strong female,” she said.

“So if she moved to New Jersey that’d make you a little worried?” asked Nati.

“Yeah, I mean I could handle it. But it’d be a challenge,” replied Jackie.

Luckily for Jackie, while Erika is no stranger to New Jersey, she’s not planning to move there anytime soon, as far as we know.
