Ramona Singer is heading into season 12 of The Real Housewives of New York City. The Bravo star has been on the show since its inception and has not skipped a season. As the last remaining OG of NY, fans have grown worried she might be getting axed soon. Their fears stem after Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge announced their exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Singer and what she brings to RHONY.

“Ramona is the only thing that is gonna save RHONY in the future seasons to come since Bethenny is out. Ramona is legendary,” a fan wrote.

“You can’t have NY without Ramona, it would be so dull,” a viewer added.

“If they fire her, they’ll have to have security escort her out or she’s taking half of Bravo with her when she leaves,” a Twitter user commented.

“If they ever sack Ramona, I am done with Real Housewives,” another fan said.

“I would riot in the streets if they fire Ramona,” another viewer mentioned.

Bethenny Frankel exits ‘RHONY’

Ahead of season 12 of RHONY, Frankel announced she was exiting the franchise for the second time.

“I have decided to leave the ‘Housewives’ franchise to explore my next chapter,” Frankel said in a statement back in August 2019 via Variety. “It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women. With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have.”

Frankel thanked her experience on the Bravo network for giving her the platform to grow professionally.

“My experience at Bravo has been an incredibly magical ride. I am so grateful to them for highlighting my entrepreneurialism and allowing me to pave the way for many women to achieve their goals. I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come,” she ended her statement.

‘RHONY’ cast pulls through

After Frankel’s exit, RHONY will move on and Luanne de Lesseps feels relieved that her former co-star is gone.

“I think the whole cast is relieved, in a way, and it also leaves breathing room for other women to shine and show their personalities because a lot was Bethenny coming in and kind of stealing the show,” De Lesseps said on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM show. “But guess what, she can’t steal our show. This season is amazing and I can’t wait for everyone to see the new season.”

The Countess and Friends star has conflicting thoughts on Frankel and their rocky relationship is a testament on how they didn’t see eye to eye all the time.

“She’s a lot of fun. She can be really nasty. She’s very funny,” the cabaret star added. “Those are the people you kind of get up for in the morning, because they challenge you. I always held my own with Bethenny. [She] and I have always had this, up and down kind of relationship, and she’s not an easy person to manage. I just feel like, that part, I’ll kind of miss. It’s challenging. I found a kind of fun in it. Listen, I’ll miss her but at the same, time, when you’re around her, it’s like walking on eggshells.”

The Real Housewives of New York City is expected to return in the coming months to Bravo.
