‘RHONY’: Is Ramona Singer the ‘Wicked Witch’ In Elyse Slaine’s Post?
Elyse Slaine from The Real Housewives of New York City prepared viewers for Ramona Singer’s icy reception during the latest episode.
“When your so called “friend” invites you on #RHONY…,” Slaine shared on Instagram along with a cartoon of a witch giving Snow White a poison apple. Slaine actually ends up checking on Singer during Luann de Lesseps’ Halloween party after Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan publicly gang up on Singer.
But Singer was unappreciative. She thanked her for her support but was still cold to her before she and Missy Pool left the party early. Instagram followers commented on Slaine’s post, sharing that they think Singer is rude. But Slaine still wishes Singer well.
“Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️ I actually don’t wish bad things for her. She is better for the show. I am not into the fighting, and thus would not be entertaining enough,” she wrote on her post.
Elyse Slaine opened up to Sonja Morgan about being iced out
Slaine and Morgan met for dinner which is when Slaine shared that she was surprised to be left out in the cold with Singer. Morgan said Singer got her a matching Halloween costume and Slaine wondered why she didn’t think of her.
“I think she wants to keep you in your place,” Morgan shared. “She’s afraid of losing control of her loved ones.” But Slaine recalled that when Singer needed emotional support, she was the one she’d call. She recounted a story when Singer called to ask if she could come over, meanwhile, Slaine’s doorman was already calling her because Singer was on her way upstairs.
“And now that she’s feeling stronger and I don’t have a jet, a yacht, a house in Aspen and I can’t do plastic surgery on her, she has no need for me anymore,” Slaine said in a confessional. Slaine shared with Morgan that when the group was going out for drinks after the haunted house, Singer pushed her out of the group.
Singer gives Slaine an icy reception at the Halloween party
Morgan is pretty drunk when she arrives at the party and the booze works like truth serum. She tells Singer she’s tired of her being so entitled. Singer apologizes and Medley says, “Here comes the apologizer.”
But then Morgan tells Singer she puts Slaine at the end of the table, she ignores her and is giving her the cold shoulder. Slaine tells Singer she feels that way. But Singer cooly says, “Alright.” But no apology for Slaine.
She doesn’t seem bothered or concerned. “I feel Elyse she was jumping on the bandwagon,” Singer said in a confessional. “What you wanna feel part of the group by attacking me too? You know what? I don’t give a sh*t at this point.”
Later after the group attacks Singer, Slaine walks over to check on her. “You OK,” Slaine asks Singer. Singer says she is, but when Slaine says she loves her, Singer doesn’t want to deal with it. Slaine even pleads with Singer to listen to her but it’s clear Singer doesn’t care.
