‘RHONY’: Leah McSweeney Takes a Dig at Ramona Singer, Calls Her ‘Miss All Lives Matter’
Leah McSweeney from The Real Housewives of New York City has been a fan-favorite since joining the cast in season 12. The Bravo star is not afraid to speak her mind and reveal herself in front of the cameras. One of the co-stars that she’s been having issues with lately on social media is Ramona Singer. McSweeney recently took a dig at Singer leaving all fans shocked.
How did the feud start?
McSweeney and Singer have had tiffs throughout RHONY Season 12, but their biggest blows have been on social media. The former is a strong advocate of the Black Lives Matter movement and all social justice causes. Singer, on the other hand, misspoke recently replying to a fan “All Lives Matter.”
Singer received major backlash on social media and later apologized promising to read up on the movement and educate herself. However, that’s not something McSweeney let go and brought it up while taking a jab at her online.
It all started when co-star Elyse Slaine made a Cameo for a fan. The “friend of” is part of the service were fans pay a fee to have a reality TV personality record a greeting for someone on a special day.
“Ramona with, ‘I’ve got 50 best friends,’” Slaine started in the video mocking Singer. “Guess what b***h? Now she’s down to 49 because I am out.”
“You want a little tea on Ramona? Wait till you hear why she says she can’t meet a man… listen to what she says,” Slaine added while cuing in McSweeney. “I have a friend who wants to give you a little tea on why Ramona can’t meet a man.”
McSweeney then drops a major bombshell that left everyone shocked saying, “She sh**s during sex.”
Leah McSweeney pokes fun at Ramona Singer
After the video went viral, Singer reacted to it on a fan blog, clarifying that she doesn’t poop while having intercourse.
“There is absolutely no truth to this,” she said in the comments. “These girls are blatantly lying to create fake news in order to try and gain their own fame. It is very sad, immature, and quite frankly mean girl behavior. “[They] both have daughters and Nicole Slaine is a family friend. What example are they sending them… that bullying is acceptable…”
McSweeney read Singers’ reply and took a swipe at her for trying to diminish the BLM movement.
“OK geriatric Regina George aka Miss All Lives Matter,” McSweeney started. “Don’t worry about the example I set for my daughter. She has an open mind and heart, treats all with respect, doesn’t see people or treat people as ‘less than,’ sees every race, religion, sexuality as equal. Elyse was [your] actual friend (no idea why). You don’t deserve Elyse. OH HELL NO BI***!”
What is with all the poop talk?
Earlier in season 12, Singer organized a girl’s getaway to Newport, Rhode Island. McSweeney invited her sister and after much reluctance, Singer finally caved in.
When the episode aired, Singer and her daughter Avery were broadcasting on Instagram Live as they watched. The latter made comments about being embarrassed for her mother, something McSweeney’s did not like.
“OMG you are embarrassed by my sister for entertaining you all at that boring dinner party?” Sarah replied in a post that Singer later deleted. “I was embarrassed when you pooped your pants the next night at dinner and were still prancing around trying to flirt with drunk married men with ‘soiled’ pants on.”
The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
