‘RHONY’: How Did the Vibrator End up in the Chicken?
The new season of The Real Housewives of New York City is offering some of the best laughs on reality television. During this coronavirus pandemic, the ladies of the Big Apple are making fans forget about the crisis if only for a moment. On their latest episode, a vibrator mysteriously ended up in the chicken and we now know who was the culprit.
What does a vibrator have to do with a chicken?
Episode 4 of Season 12 had all the ladies staying over at Ramona Singer’s house at the Hamptons. The ladies were invited to have a lovely weekend to bond and turn up the fun.
Things got out of control when Singer decided to slip out of her home to attend a ritzy party around town that the ladies didn’t want to go to. Unbeknownst to the host, Leah McSweeney, Tinsley Mortimer, and Sonja Morgan were outside in her poll skinny dipping, throwing tiki torches, and creating havoc.
The following morning, Singer went down to her kitchen to find a mess of dirty dishes, and McSweeney pointing out, “There’s a vibrator in the chicken.”
Singer was flabbergasted by the whole scene that she could only say, “I have to laugh, otherwise I’d cry.”
So how did the vibrator end up in the chicken?
The mystery was solved when McSweeney made a post on Instagram with photos from that infamous night.
“These are pics from the day after our wild ‘vibrator in the chicken’ night,” she posted. “I’m lucky I woke up with the only damage done being one nail broken.”
One of the comments on the post was from Singer’s friend Elyse Slaine, who was also at the house party and provided clarity about the vibrator in the chicken incident.
“You do know that it was you who put the vibrator in the chicken, right?” Slaine commented.
McSweeney was surprised about this revelation as she had no recollection that she was the culprit of it all.
“Yes,” Slaine clarified. “You tried to stand it up but it kept falling and then Sonja marinated it. See, you need me to be sober to clear up any unanswered questions.”
The exchange on Instagram blew fans’ minds as the mystery was finally solved.
Luann de Lesseps weighs-in
What made the scene instantly iconic was that the vibrators came out of nowhere. Although Luann de Lesseps didn’t end up staying the whole night at the party, she did recently provide insight on the adult toys.
“Well, what did happen was that Dorinda brought, like, four or five vibrators. She didn’t have enough to go around!” the Countess told E!. “And that scene didn’t make it in—we were all talking about vibrators and whatever.”
The “Feelin’ Jovani” hitmaker said that she struggled to be at the party as the girls were drinking and she’s been trying to stay sober.
“It was tough going through that party without drinking. It hasn’t been easy,” De Lesseps added. “I didn’t cave so I was very proud of myself. And I was just amused by watching them. I was like, ‘This is better than drinking.'”
