‘RHOP’: Candiace Dillard on Her Co-Stars Body-Shaming Wendy Osefo – ‘They’re Bored’
Wendy Osefo is happy to show off her new body but some of her co-stars are tired of seeing it. The Real Housewives of Potomac star got a confidence boost since going under the knife. While Gizelle Bryant is scratching her head at Osefo’s sexier wardrobe, Candiace Dillard says she’s team Osefo.

Since the start of Season 6, Osefo has not hidden the fact that she’s gone under the knife. She says after breastfeeding her three children, it was time for a tuneup. Osefo had a breast augmentation and she affectionately refers to her new boobies as “Happy and Ness.” She also had a Brazilian butt lift, hinted at having a tummy tuck, and some other “tweaks.”
Osefo is happily showing off her new figure in bodycon dresses, revealing tops, leotards, and more. While her co-stars say they admire the work, some are taken aback by the amount of skin she shows.
Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby believe Osefo is showing too much and think there’s an underlying reason as to why. Bryant has been the most outspoken, even wondering if alleged rumors of Osefo’s husband being unfaithful is the cause for her newfound sexiness.
“I’ve seen more of your body parts in the past month than I have the entire time I’ve known you,” Gizelle told Osefo during a cast dinner in episode 6.
“Yeah, the difference is clearly I had my boobs done,” Osefo replied. Bryant snapped back, “It has nothing to do with that. This is totally not the Wendy that I met, it is way different from Professor Wendy, substance Wendy.”
Candiace Dillard comes to Wendy Osefo’s defense and says Osefo deserves to feel confident
One person who is supportive of Osefo’s new body and new attitude is Dillard. She says she understands Osefo’s newfound positive sense of self.
“[Wendy] deserves to feel brand new,” Dillard says in a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand. “She has given the world three children. She fed all of them from her breasts and I remember being on trips with her last year while she was breastfeeding and I would be lulled to sleep by the sound of her breast pump because she’s breastfeeding even when we’re out of town. She’s fed villages with those titties, if she wants to get them done, get them done girl! I’m all for mommy makeovers!”
For Dillard, she believes her co-stars’ criticism of Osefo is low-hanging fruit.
“I honestly think that the commentary about Wendy’s body is just boredom,” she says. “They’re bored [and] there’s nothing else to talk about so let’s address Wendy and her new body as if it’s a problem. Because Gizelle has had work done.”
As far as some in the group who feel Osefo’s personality is vastly different from the person they met last season, Dillard says Osefo is simply growing into her new self.
“I think that she was just finding her way while also figuring out how to be confident in this new body.”
