‘RHOP’ Monique Samuels Explained Why a Fourth Child ‘Ain’t Happening’
After having three beautiful children with former professional football player hubby, Chris Samuels, Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels has stated she is done giving birth.
Even though her followers want her to have another girl, the Not For Lazy Moms business owner explained why a fourth child “ain’t happening.”
Monique Samuels on ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’
In 2017, Monique Samuels joined the cast of Real Housewives of Potomac alongside Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, and Charisse Jackson Jordan after the firing of former housewife, Katie Rost.
She returned for the third season, where she befriended newcomer Candiace Dillard, and the two developed a sister-like bond. However, they fell out during the following season when Samuels started hanging out with Darby; someone Dillard did not get along with.
Because Samuels refused to pick a side, Dillard believed her former friend wasn’t loyal to her. Even though they admitted they missed their friendship during the Season 4 reunion, the two got into a physical altercation in October 2019.
While filming for the next season, the women got into an argument, and Dillard allegedly instigated the fight by throwing a drink, and the glass, in Samuels’ face.
The housewife responded by reportedly grabbing the former pageant queen’s head and slamming it into the table. After a few weeks, Dillard pressed a second-degree assault charge against Samuels, who then answered by countering.
After the judge reviewed the footage and conducted interviews, the court dropped the assault charges against the housewives. Since news of the fight went public, Samuels has been on several different vacations with her family.
Monique Samuels explained why she wouldn’t expand her family
In March 2012, Samuels married Washington Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels, who played for ten years and retired as a six-time All-Pro player. In January 2013, the couple welcomed their first child, Christopher Jr. (7), followed by Milani in July 2015 (4).
After suffering a miscarriage in 2017, the Samuels had their rainbow baby, Chase Omari, on November 26, 2018. The housewife uploads pictures and videos of her family regularly, and her followers have fallen in love with the family of five.
In the comment section of almost every picture with her kids, fans are asking when or if she will expand her family. Even though the housewife loves her family and they could afford another baby, she had stated several times that Chase would be their last child.
In a recent Instagram post, Samuels uploaded a picture with her husband and kids and captioned it, “I love my family so much! We’re far from perfect, but we just love to love on each other. Also, I appreciate the love you all have for my family, but please stop asking me to have another baby! It ain’t happening!”
A follower asked Samuels if they “are really done” having children, and the housewife responded, “Chase made it clear that he’s the last! No mo [more]!” As of now, it seems highly unlikely the Samuels family will expand any further.
