‘RHOSLC’: Jen Shah Reveals Who Called Her Before Raid but Castmates Don’t Believe Her
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 2 has featured Jen Shah’s current legal drama, including her leaving after a phone call she received shortly before the authorities intercepted the bus, searching for the reality star. In a recent after-show episode, the 47-year-old revealed who called her before the raid, but a few other castmates still don’t believe her.
Jen Shah says her husband Coach’s assistant called her while on the bus
During the Nov. 22 after-show, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah claimed the call she received while on the bus came from her husband, Sharrieff “Coach” Shah.
However, the voice on the other end belonged to his general assistant. According to the reality star, he urged her to get their youngest son, Omar, and go to the hospital, where he claimed her husband wanted her.
Because he knew of her upcoming out-of-town trip, Shah said she thought something terrible happened to Sharreiff. The reality star noted her husband had a doctor’s appointment earlier that day and thought he requested her presence because he needed surgery.
She also insisted she asked Whitney Rose to un mic her due to her confusion and the amount of noise happening in the background.
Other ‘RHOSLC’ stars think Shah isn’t telling the truth about who called her
Lisa Barlow noted she and her husband attempted to call Sharreiff, but he didn’t answer. Therefore, they didn’t know who called Shah.
Additionally, newcomer Jennie Nguyen admitted she didn’t believe her co-star, adding she thinks it’s wrong and bad luck to lie about someone’s health.
Heather Gay and Rose also questioned who really phoned her, noting they felt the call came from someone tipping off the reality star.
While they noticed she didn’t “rush off” like a person on the run and don’t think she tried to evade the police, the two admitted they felt the call, which they believe likely came from her husband, gave her a heads-up.
Shah initially claimed her husband had internal bleeding
Prior to Shah, Gay, Rose, Barlow, and Nguyen taking off for their Vail, Colorado trip, Coach reportedly called Shah, and she quickly asked Rose to turn off her mic before exiting the bus.
She spoke on the phone for a few minutes before returning to the bus and informing her co-stars that she wouldn’t be able to travel with them. According to the reality star, her husband had internal bleeding, and she needed to join him at the hospital.
Shah hugged the other ladies and promised to meet them at the Vail house if everything went well. Shortly after her exit, NYPD officers and Homeland Security showed up, searching for the reality star. Meanwhile, the police raided her home.
Although worried for their friend, the ladies took off for Vail, and Rose saw and shared a report revealing the arrest and charges. They phoned Meredith Marks, who was waiting for them at the Vail house, but she admitted the shocking news didn’t surprise her. RHOSLC airs Sundays on Bravo.
