Receipts. Proof. Timeline. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns for its fifth season on Sept. 18, picking up after a chaotic fourth season that ended with the shocking revelation that cast member Monica Garcia was the devious mastermind behind the Reality Von Tease troll account.

Bravo has dropped a trailer for the upcoming season, teasing what’s in store for the ladies of Salt Lake City. While one divisive Housewife has made her exit, another familiar face has returned to the show. Plus, there’s a new cast member in town who’s not afraid to stir up trouble.

“[She’s] not here to make friends,” Heather Gay says in the teaser (via YouTube). “And I don’t trust her.”

Monica Garcia isn’t returning for ‘RHOSLC’ Season 5

At the end of RHOSLC Season 4, Garcia was exposed as the person behind a nasty Instagram account dedicated to trolling the Salt Lake City Housewives. The betrayal left the other women stunned, even though Garcia said the account’s real target was disgraced former Housewife Jen Shah, who is currently serving time on fraud charges. Unsurprisingly, Garcia – who joined the show in season 4 – was not invited to return for season 5.

“We are going to have a cooling-off period,” Andy Cohen explained on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live (via Deadline). He added that Garcia failed to justify her behavior at the season 4 reunion.

“Monica had the opportunity, not only to explain herself to the audience but way more importantly, in this case, to the other women,” Cohen said. “And I don’t think she successfully swayed any of them to her side.”

Bronwyn Newport joins ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ cast

Garcia’s departure left an opening in the RHOSLC cast. Enter Bronwyn Newport. She’s a friend of Lisa Barlow who’s all about “couture, art, and a first-class lifestyle,” according to Bravo.

Newport is an excommunicated Mormon who worked in finance while raising her daughter on her own. Now, she’s married to Todd, who is 26 years her senior. The show’s newest Housewife is not afraid to make a dramatic entrance. In the trailer, she struts the streets of Salt Lake City wearing a leopard print bikini with matching boots and a puffy jacket. And she doesn’t care what people think. When Gay confronts her about telling everyone in the group “a different story,” Newport is unapologetic.

“If you don’t want my support, you don’t got to take it,” she says.

RHOSLC Season 5 also marks the return of Mary Cosby as a full-time Housewife. Cosby quit the show after season 2 but was back as a Friend in season 4.

This season, she reintegrates herself into the group, including making amends with both Gay and Whitney Rose. She also forges an unexpected friendship with Angie Katsanevas. But her longstanding friendship with Meredith Marks is on thin ice as the two women struggle to see eye-to-eye.

“You’re not always the victim,” Mary tells Meredith in the trailer.

“No, I’m not,” Meredith replies before accusing Mary of using her for three years.

Tensions boil over during a meal at Mary’s house.

“You’re a sneaky little, snarky little something,” Mary says.

“Leave me alone,” Meredith replies, prompting an explosive reaction from Mary.

“Get out of my house!” she shouts.

In addition to new and returning Housewives, two new Friends are joining RHOSLC this season. Britani Bateman is a practicing Mormon, real estate developer, actor, and singer. She’s introduced to the group through her friend Gay. Meili Workman is a friend of Rose. She’s a model with four young children who was raised LDS but later left the church.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 premieres Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
