Rihanna has become a champion for body inclusivity

Over the years, Rihanna has become a champion for body inclusivity. That was never more evident than at her 2020 fashion show for her Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

Buzzfeed noted that in an interview before the show, which premiered on Amazon Prime, RiRi revealed that her show would feature men, women, and non-binary models. Some of the famous faces in the show included Paris Hilton, Willow Smith, and Lizzo, as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Shea Couleé, Jaida Essence Hall, and Gigi Goode to name a few.

“When I imagine something, I imagine everyone that I know and love being a part of it,” Rihanna explained. “I want to make stuff that I can see on the people that I know and they come in all different shapes, sizes, races, religion. Whether that comes from my household and my childhood [or] to the circle of family that I’ve created around me. I really care that they be a part of what I do.”

She added: “Inclusivity for me has always been something second nature. It’s not anything I really think about. I didn’t think it would be such a talking point after the fact. The only thing I could think about was including everyone.”

The body part RiRi insured for $1 million

While Rihanna has been celebrating all different shapes and sizes, her own figure has been praised as well.

In 2007, she was recognized for her legs winning the Venus Breeze “Celebrity Legs of a Goddess” Award. “I’m thrilled that Venus Breeze thinks my legs are award-worthy,” Rihanna said via a Proctor & Gamble press release.

People noted that after receiving the honor, the “Work” singer decided to insure her pins for a whopping $1 million.

Madonna Insured This Body Part for $2 Million

The “Umbrella” artist isn’t the only celebrity to insure her legs. In fact, a number of other stars have insured their assets for even more money.

America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum insured her legs for $2 million. Actor Jamie Lee Curtis did the same for $2.8 million. Tina Turner has a policy protecting hers for $3.2 million and even had a song dedicated to them. But no one tops the ultimate diva Mariah Carey, who won the Celebrity Legs of a Goddess title before Rihanna did, and insured her legs for a jaw-dropping $35 million. Mimi reportedly insured her voice too for the same amount. Other reports claim that the policy Carey has on her gams is actually for around $1 billion, yes billion with a B.
