Poe Dameron hated the First Order and loved his droid, BB-8. In The Rise of Skywalker, fans even learned that he was a “spice runner” and a friend of the scoundrel from the frigid planet, Kijimi — Zorii Bliss.

Did Poe ever kiss Zorii in this Star Wars movie? Here’s what we know about the characters.

He was the best pilot in the Resistance. Fans met Poe Dameron in the first movie of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. He quickly befriended characters like Finn and, with The Last Jedi, met the powerful Rey.

Fans learned even more about this character and his past from The Rise of Skywalker, where an old friend from Kijimi shared that Poe used to be a “spice runner.”

(Rey was a scavenger and Finn was a stormtrooper, so they didn’t all have great starts.) That old friend was Zorii Bliss, a masked scoundrel portrayed by Keri Russell.

The final movie in the Skywalker Saga introduced fans to a few new characters, including BB-8’s droid friend, D-O, and the former stormtrooper Jannah. There was also one of Poe Dameron’s old friends, named Zorii Bliss.

After receiving help from Zorii, the Resistance fighters run out of danger. On the way out, Poe had one final request for Zorii. He says, “can I kiss you?” She pushed him away, insisting that he leave at that moment.

Once the First Order and Palpatine were officially defeated, the Resistance fighters met up to celebrate. Zorii Bliss was sure to attend. When Poe saw her, he gave a sultry look. She shook her head and he walked away.

No, Poe never got his kiss from Zorii Bliss, missing out on a mini-romance like Ben Solo and Rey or Rose and Finn. Of course, the fight against the First Order was their first priority, with Finn, Poe, and Rey hugging and crying during the final movie of the sequel trilogy.

There were a few mini-romances in ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’

Poe Dameron didn’t get his kiss from Zorii Bliss, (or from Finn, as some fans hoped.) However, a few other characters had romantic moments in this sequel trilogy. Rose and Finn kissed in The Last Jedi.

There was another short romance between the “dyad in the force.” After teaming up with Rey to defeat Palpatine, Ben Solo transferred his life to the young Jedi. As a result, Rey kissed Ben Solo just before he died.
