Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz Paid Tribute to a Classic Batman Comic on the Red Carpet
The Batman will soon be in theaters worldwide, which means that the red carpet premieres have begun. Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz walked the red carpet in London for the premiere of The Batman. And fans noticed that they dressed similar to their DC Comics characters.

The Batman stars Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravtiz as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Selina Kyle/Catwoman. In the comic books, Bruce and Selina have an on-and-off-again romance.
The movie’s synopsis reads, “Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman, striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle, Oswald Cobblepot, Carmine Falcone, and the Riddler.”
The movie describes Selina as a nightclub waitress, drug dealer, and cat burglar who runs into Batman while looking for her missing roommate. And, keeping in line with the comics, Selina and Bruce have conflicting morals that lead to many disagreements.
Based on the trailers for The Batman, Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz share great chemistry. And fans are excited to see their characters’ romance blossom in the film.

Per ComicBook.com, fans first raved over how good Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz looked at the premiere of The Batman in London. Then, they noticed some similarities between their outfits and a particular comic book.
Batman #37, written by Tom King and drawn by Clay Mann, focuses on Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent repairing their friendship. The comic book features many interactions between Bruce, Clark, Selina Kyle, and Lois Lane. And in this particular issue, Bruce and Selina wear outfits that resemble what Pattinson and Kravitz wore on the red carpet.
It seems as though Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz wanted to pay homage to their The Batman characters during the premiere. Kravitz’s hair even mirrors Selina’s in the comic book.
Will there be a ‘The Batman’ sequel?
Can fans expect to see more of Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz as Batman and Catwoman? While speaking with The Independent at the London premiere, Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman, confirmed that a sequel is in the works.
“You don’t make [movie] number one as if there’s going to be number two,” the director shared. “You have to make number one as if you are swinging for the fences, and it has to be a movie that stands and lives on its own. But I really believe in what we’ve done.”
Reeves continued, “And I’d be excited to tell more stories and we are already telling other stories in the streaming space. We’re doing stuff on HBO Max, we’re doing a Penguin show with Colin [Farrell], which is going to be super cool. And we’re doing some other stuff too, but we have started talking about another movie. But right now, we’ll just put it out in the world. I’ll try to enjoy this.”
The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz, premieres exclusively in theaters on March 4.
