Ross Mathews said one lip-sync from ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 12 will be the best one yet

For one video with Logo, Ross Mathews commented on a few of the most iconic lip-sync moments. Even with Roxxxy Andrews’ “wig ruveal” and Raven and Jujubee’s emotional portrayal of “Dancing On My Own,” Ross Mathews teased that his favorite lip-sync moment is during the upcoming season.

He said that that this performing is “coming up” and fans are already freaking out. One Twitter user said, “not sure it can top this from the great [Yvie Oddly] and [Brooke Lynn Hytes]… Still watch this daily and still gagging.”

“There’s a lot of competition for that title. It better be worth it,” another Twitter user said. Viewers will just have to wait and see for themselves.

When does ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ season 12 premiere?

The wait is almost over for Drag Race fans. Finally, they’ll have a chance to watch the queens lip-sync for their life, thanks to the premiere of the upcoming 12th season. There will be a few celebrity guest judges, including Niki Minaj. However, the main decision is always RuPaul’s to make.

This is not the first time Ross Mathews sat at the judge’s panel. The celebrity was one of the featured judges for previous seasons, even having the opportunity to meet Lady Gaga.

“Oh my God, my all-time favorite moment from Drag Race, besides of course getting to work with Michelle [Visage], Ru, and Carson [Kressley], was the moment I walked in and they told me Lady Gaga was going to be there. I could not,” Ross Mathews said, according to Hollywood Life. “I can’t believe I live in the same world as Lady Gaga, and I got to sit next to her for like 12 hours.”

The contestants include drag performers Aiden Zhane, Brita, Crystal Methyd, Dahlia Sin, Gigi Goode, Heidi N Closet, Jackie Cox, Jaida Essence Hall, Jan, Nicky Doll, Rock M Sakura, Sherry Pie, and Widow Von’Du. They’ll compete for a crown, a cash prize of $100,000, and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 12 premieres on Feb. 28, 2020. Until then, fans can stream episodes of Untucked on the WOW Presents YouTube Channel.
